BDW! Let's get it. There's a large knot in the rope (bottom one) - possibly trim it? Hide it under the turnbuckle? Just noticed that. The first match was awesome, some sweet poses and a nice ending. Not sure if this was filmed before/after I said about the entrance stage but could do with some touching up - said all that before anyway. "Paul: NEW JACK WHACKS D-VON WITH HIS BIG STICK!" - lmao damn son I see that The Mysterio match ending looked pretty cool, which is surprising because those effects can look really fake but that actually looked awesome, not something you see in feds commonly, if ever so nice original touch there. Loved the ending, favourite match of the night because of it. Some of the poses were a tiny bit off but mainly just the little things to work on. Nice show bro!

-Wondered where we were going with Joey Styles just announcing matches, but I liked that this gave you a way of bringing Pillman in -Enjoyed seeing some actually wrestling at the start of Balls/Lee (not meaning any offence, more that you're usually full of hardcore stuff and brawls ) -The New Jack & Co brawl left me a bit confused. Think it might be that I missed your PPV -Not seen an R3 figure in years! -The "And they just kind of fall down..." comment made me chuckle -Nice action in the Rey/Tajiri mask -The twists and turns in Punk/Stevie were good -The main event match was my favourite A very good show, Brick. It's probably time to stop saying you're constantly improving, as you're now an established fedder and central part of the board. Not too keen on there being so many stables, but I'm sure you'll make it work. Good job!

Don't think I gave any commentary explanation for that specific match...though it's worth noting their fights started at Figamania. 4. Yeah, it was humorous. The pose was godawful, but it was humorous. Not an established fedder. Well yeah, maybe established but far from good at the moment. Really far from the full potential I'm sure I could reach at some point.

Great show! I always like when Brodie Lee is in action. I didn't understand the second match, but the black and white clash was very good! Rey vs Tajiri was a good technical match. CM Punk vs Stevie Richards was the best match in the night, with a lot of drama. The main event was very good too, but I prefer if Chris Jericho has won...

Really enjoyed that show. The matches were all good, I didn't find anything wrong with the Mysterio/Tajiri one, the main event was great though, maybe the best match ive seen from you. I really like how you're developing your storylines, you've massively improved that and I'm really intrigued about both the mystery man at the end of the Flock match, and the Rogue Horsemen.
On that note, I love all the stables you have going. Almost a japanese feel to it, with most people being aligned to some sort of stable, and that's something I think is really cool.
It would be cool if you used string in you poses, that's the only thing that I think you could improve on really, everything else seems to be coming together. I dig your commentary, but sometimes I think it's a bit too mocking on yourself, all the string jokes and stuff, but that sort of thing is just down to taste.

That was the craziest show I've ever seen! I haven't really watched BDW in the past, but in the spirit of the board, I gave it another go and man, was I impressed! I was a little confused by the brawl between New Jack etc. I'll have to take a look at some of your older shows to get a real feel for the storylines, but overall I really enjoyed the show!
Especially loved you ripping Balls apart on commentary, as he really does suck. Looking forward to more BDW!

slowgraffitiMysterio/Tajiri was weak to me because of 1 too many bad poses...partially due to this being my first time using R3s. Still alright though. Rogue Horsemen is an angle I've wanted to do for a little while, but this was the episode where it'd finally make sense to do it. I actually am not entirely sure why one or so other thought all the stables was possibly a bad thing, considering there's only 4 (5 if you count Da Hood and D-Von but I don't) and they all have purposes. That's the thing with me, I'll have as many wrestlers or stables as I need, as long as they all have a purpose. The string thing is a definite problem. The only times I've done it in the past are when I didn't need a tripod and was using a much worse camera and when I can take pictures with my makeshift one, which only worked with the 5 star frog splash off the entrance stage. I really should stop mocking myself, and breaking the 4th wall in the commentary. Stuff like this is what I type when I can't think of anything else, and "Cop-out string shot!" and "Pillman's gonna die tonight....again" are just stupid. Thanks for taking the time to reply Old ZekeBalls sucks balls. Thanks for the reply

Fun start to the show. You've really nailed Pillman.
Brodie/Balls felt stiff to me. Just never caught on too much, but there were a couple good spots. I liked the chair shot and the Brodie Bomb.
Wild tag team chaos.
Mr. Pogo reference!
Can't tell if the Rey/Tajiri match is the best match or the worst match, lol. Lots of good spots and then lots of times it looks like they just fell down. And your commentary reflects that, lol. The West Coast Pop had two great shots and one that looks like you just threw them down.
Hardy/Jericho has a lot of fun stuff going on in it. Digging the ending too and the hard fight on the outside.
Issues are still the same, random blurriness, too many just "OH and Oh, and OH" to my liking, but what can I say, it's Barely Decent! Haha. Fun stuff man.
You definitely make me miss ECW at times. You pay homage good.

I'm especially surprised you liked the Brodie Bomb considering how hard it was to do with Balls' gigantic head and less articulated legs, expected that to be the stiffest post. Yeah, I was really disappointed with Rey/Tajiri. Lots of bad poses that the low articulation R3 isn't even responsible for. Thanks for replying.

This show was awesome. You seemed to improve so much with pacing and posing. But never stop trying to get better. I liked Brodie vs. Balls the best. Good job, just keep working on posing.

THought i'd check out the show, since you kindly replied to mine!.. Ahh good to see someone using Brian Pillman! Easily one of the best characters for this kind of environment. Nice in-jokes about the figures Nice to see someone not take themselves too seriously!.. "Big Black E".... "Da Hood".... Oh man.. And I thought me and my bro's creation of 'BlackWall Street' back in the day was bad! The KKK?! I'll discuss this later.. Good to see The Gangstaz reunite, and there I was trying not to sound too racy. Nice match between Rey and Tajiri, good use of the mist to show Tajiri as a sore loser. And a pretty semi main event between Richards and Punk, liked the use of Al's head, as well as Punks Macho Elbow/Peoples elbow from the top. The Raven tease was interesting.. Match of the night was the main event, great use of the ladders! A tad confusing with Pillman on commentary at times, the uniting of the 'Rogue Horseman' seems like its going to cause havoc in the future. I liked the show man, you got a good set up, and a very ECW-esque feel to your production. A few pointers, your poses need a lot of work. You could do with exploring more of a range of moves, I saw a lot of punches, kicks and headlocks either leading to a DDT, or a bulldog. It's almost too simple to do, and nags a little on the flow of the match. Balls Vs Brodie was crap in comparison to the other matches on this show, avoid calling that a 'match of the year' candidate if I were you. It doesnt give the viewer much faith to continue watching, but either way I am glad I did for that main event! Look, I did get a kick out of the racial stereotyping I'll admit, but tone it back. Referring to anyone as the KKK is straight up immature man! It just screams "I'm a suburban Caucasian kid". I laughed, because i'm highly immature like that! It does add to the rated-R feel of an ECW themed fed I guess, just be careful who you might offend. Other than that, its great to see New Jack. Its only a personal preference, but you do alot of burial on the mic and on commentary. Perhaps work on ways your performers can put over their feuds without straight up burying each other. 'Beating the wrestling talent out of Balls if he can find it' during commentary for example, just seemed abit out of place, unless you're literally setting Balls up to be a battle hardened jobber in the future. Invest in some string, work on your lighting. I'm just as bad for it really, but try to avoid shadowing your pictures in mid-air shots. Also, using a Tripod set up for a form of 'hard camera' would really help your pictures pop, and would reduce the blur shots. Again, only a personal preference due to not being up to date with your show, but I would have liked to have seen more character/feud building segments aside from the usual promos, which were done well. It can be difficult within the ECW environment I can imagine, but your 18+rated product opens a lot of doors for edgey memorable angles, so a few angles here and there would help a casual viewer like myself immediately understand who is feuding with who. Very enjoyable! Looking forward to future efforts!

Very enjoyable! Looking forward to future efforts! I actually planned at one point taking the KKK thing further, but didn't since 1. The segment was stupid anyway and 2. I'd think someone would get offended Yeah my poses leave a bit to be desired. Balls vs Brodie wasn't supposed to be amazing, just an opener. I don't even think it'd be possible to have a good Balls Mahoney match within more then 60 pics, lol. There's not a whole lot of racist stereotyping. There was the KKK joke, and the gimmick of Da Hood as a whole, but I'm not even going as far with this as I could. The commentary burial of Balls was, I guess out of place, but I had to find a way to make a Balls match entertaining. Dunno what you're talking about besides that. My lighting is perfectly fine in most areas. The flash kind of makes people with white shirts a little too bright, but I've been finding ways to prevent it. I have used string in the past, but that was when I wasn't using the camera I'm using now. I don't have a tripod, and haven't made a good makeshift one yet (made one that only functioned well for one move, rvd jumping off an entrance stage). There's never going to be a 'hard camera' in BDW as I'm quite found of the crooked action shots, like ECW did sometimes in recaps...though those are only few and far between in BDW so I'd like a tripod. Usually BDW episodes have the "Pulp Fiction" promos, this one didn't. It also doesn't help that this show was mostly filler, besides Punk vs Stevie and the New Jack brawl. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Have to say your shows are getting better and better and you have come a long way from when you first began. You capture the ECW vibe really well, and I enjoyed the matches some real all out brawls there. The punk/stevie match I thought had some really great ring psychology, not just highspot after highspot it was more like a real wrestling match and you took your time with it. It was a really good example on how to have a match stay interesting as it was a long one. I also enjoy your show being kinda 'edgy' and nice reunion of The Gangstaz.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. The racial stereotyping is simply in bad taste really. Again, it doesn't bother me personally, but it ain't so much about how far it can be taken, more about wether you should take it there in the first place. It's cheap heat, and racism certainly isn't a very imaginative foundation to build a wrestling feud upon, even for an 'edgey' promotion like the original ECW. If you have difficulty getting a good '60pic' match out of Mahoney, extend the match! There's a ton of wasted shots inbetween moves which is a personal irk of mine anyway, the amount of pics you take should only be a guide. Personally, I've literally never paid attention to the length of my matches until I've uploaded them. That way if it's long it's long, if it's short it's short, but it still flows regardless. Some inspiration for commentating Mahoney can be taken from listening to vintage Joey Styles. His references to "Nutley new Jersey" and telling tales of Balls KOing his high school wrestling referee, brawling in bars and his hidden technical wrestling ability always made for entertaining commentary, and out Balls over big time. It's nothing major, just flaming his 'lack of talent' came across very un-Joey Styles-like. You don't sound much of a fan of Balls, which is a shame since you're ECW themed, so I suggest checking out some of HardCoreTv, when Balls faced the likes of RVD, if you can get hold of any footage. Also if you watch some original ECW, they did use some angled shots, but they mainly used a hard camera throughout matches. It's just a suggestion really, you'd completely capture that original "Philadelphia ECW arena" feel if you set up a hard camera parallel to the ring and limited the camera angles you use.
