I'm not sure about anywhere else but here in the UK, Basic WWE figures are about $15 each and Elite WWE figures are about $27 each. I think that these are just crazy prices. I think if Jakks brought back the ruthless line (six per set with a weapon) for $7 each, like the old days, these would sell. WWE Rumblers and Power Slammers are the only items that are in this price range at the moment. People that would be interested in the line:
- TNA fans.
- WWE and other wrestling fans looking for past stars.
- People looking for a present for a wrestling fan.
- Customizers.
- People that may need something to sign for a convention.
Where the line could sell::
- Toys R Us(etc).
- Walmart (etc).
- Walgreens (etc).
- SHOPTNA (etc).
- Random Places.
TNA Xplosive Impact Series 1:
- Kurt Angle (with microphone)
- Bobby Lashley (with belt)
- Jeff Hardy(with ladder)
- MVP (with chair)
- Tyrus (with table)
- Awesome Kong (with cookie sheet)
What does everyone think?

Unfortunately, "what Jakks needs to do" and "what Jakks can feasibly do in 2015" exist on entirely different planes altogether.
There are many explanations for why action figure prices can never go back to the way they were, but a quick Google search would benefit you far more than anything I could say.
It's a good thing that you kept your expectations low for accessories, as I think that always makes for a more believable suggestion, but a reboot of the TNA line doesn't seem imminent or even all that likely.

Not gonna happen. If stores wanted TNA product, more of it would exist. There's no way that six/seven inch figures with weapons are selling for $7 upon release in 2015. Plus, the name value of TNA and its roster is lower than it has ever been, and most wrestling fans have moved onto the Mattel line so the passe Jakks style wouldn't work.
What Jakks needs to do is ride out the remainder of the TNA contract with as little expense as possible.

It's really hard seeing Jakks disappear after so long. They've made some totally phenomenal figures over the years. I think Jakks are still doing very well in more pre-school toys now, I suppose that's market gap they've found. Can't blame them if that brings in the cash nowawday. I think it's a bit of a crummy ending, the main wave being repaints and made Ringside Collectible exclusives and also TNA dipping a bit. Sad times. Here's a good article on the costs of action figures, seeing as a lot of info on toy manufacturing is hidden due to under-paid workers and such: www.battlegrip.com/?p=44744

I'm no expert on toys or the inner workings of the toy industry. I'm just some random internet dude killing time on a break, but what I would like to see Jakks do is invest in new tooling more in scale with Mattel's offerings and produce figures of classic wrestlers not signed with WWE.

I made a thread a while back about this concept, I think it's a good idea. For those interested in how figures are made, this is worth a watch:

Good luck with Jakks doing any of that. TNA is a dying brand and Jakks acts towards them like someone who is waiting for a person to die so they can finally move on. Since Jakks got the Nintendo licence, I rather they just make figures based off Punch Out! and Pro Wrestling. Jakks can just reuse old parts like usual to make them.

They need to do something, (read: anything) but past experience tells us they won't do a single bloody thing. Since Padawer left, this is their boss, I'm guessing:

I was actually thinking about the TNA line the other day and had an idea. Since Destination America seems determined to help TNA grow, I was thinking they could talk with JAKKS about reviving the line. Scrap the Deluxe IMPACT line because that's just repaints and people who are no longer with the company. Instead, do a Ruthless basic style line.
Here's a few lines I thought of.
TNA Destination Action: Ruthless Aggression style line. Series 1 Kurt Angle with Hall of Fame shirt. Samoa Joe with towel. Abyss with Entrance Coat. Kenny King with BDC hood. Eric Young with chair.
Series 2 Bobby Roode with Entrance Cape James Storm with bullrope. MVP with guardrail. Low Ki with updated X-Division Title. Jeremy Borash with microphone.
Series 3 Ethan Carter III with shears. Matt Hardy with Hardy's shirt. Manik with pipe. Taryn Terrell with Knockouts Title. Mike Tenay with clipboard.
TNA Destination Action Packed: Adrenaline two pack style. Series 1 Khoya and The Great Sanada with Sanada's hood. MVP in street clothes and Lashley with updated TNA World Title. The Wolves with TNA World Tag Team Titles.
Series 2 Awesome Kong and Havok with Havok's entrance gear. Ethan Carter III in suit and Tyrus with chains. The Hardys with table.
Series 3 Bram and Magnus with turnbuckle. Mr Anderson and Chris Melendez with American flag and microphone. Rockstar Spud and Mandrews with British Boot Camp banner.

I would love just that i would like more knockouts Yeah I am lacking in the Knockouts. Thought they'd do the guys involved in the bigger storylines first, since the Knockouts lately just have a random triple threat here and there.

Someone else getting the TNA line and leaving the hulking roided up looking figures like the RAs and DAs in the past is the best thing for TNA. If you make your figures almost a clone to the Mattel Elites (with a few differences to avoid legal conflict) then TNA figures would sell A LOT better.

The Mattel Elite style is IMO the way all figures should be presented. Not just Wrestling, but movie, game and TV figures as well. A realistic not over-exaggerated look. Although I would only want the Ruthless style done again to match up with the ROH Figures.
