I think D Bry is still one of the best interim "the man" options. I think Ambrose is the better long term option. Probably followed by Rollins.

Probably Rollins or Reigns. Maybe Ambrose, not sure how old he is. Minus Austin, look at the other faces of the company. Bruno Sammartino. Hulk Hogan. John Cena. Widely different, but they had LONG YEARS of success. I would LOVE to see Bryan as the face, but as much as it comes down to who's best suited for the spot, age has to be a factor. In wrestling standards, Bryan's got a TON of mileage on him. He's middle aged in regards to the sport, and like Cena now, you have to wonder if this neck/shoulder thing is going to pile up into a massive problem in the future. There is a reason athletes retire young. It isn't just money made. If there was assurance Bryan would never get hurt again outside of broken fingers and noses, at least for about 8-9 years, by all means. But Reigns has the most upside of the group. He's the youngest, has the least mileage and is at least willing to learn. On top of him being a meathead with a heritage, that's definitely going to help him get the edge on the others I think. We'll see though. This. Ambrose is only 29, so he's got a ton of mileage left, too. |

Bryan, him as The Man I just cannot see it, at best I still see him as an injury prone B+ player who just doesn't have what it takes to carry the company on his back much like how Cena has for the past decade and a half I wish wfigs was around in 1997 so I could read someone say "Steve Austin as the man? I just cannot see it. He broke his neck and I just don't think he can carry the whole company on his back like Hogan did" |

Daniel Bryan should be the main man right now that he's back, but I really don't know how many more years he has left. He's probably one neck injury away from never wrestling again. Dean Ambrose should be the future, and Dolph Ziggler should've been a regular main eventer/WWE Champion for at least a year by now.

Rollins if he ends up becoming "The Man" then here is hoping he turns babyface in the future if not now then maybe a few years from now and then we can see what happens but building him up to be the franchise as a heel, he can be in a sense because Flair he was the franchise of NWA/WCW and he was a heel much like how Rollins is right now

Bryan as the face, Rollins as the top heel. Ambrose and Reigns as 3 and 4. Reigns is if he can actually improve.

I'm surprised to see so few votes for Dolph Ziggler. I think he should probably be the franchise. Daniel Brian should be A guy, but not THE guy, you know? Always at our near the main event and sometimes even the focal point, but never for long. He should be the Kevin Nash to Ziggler's or whoever's Hollywood Hogan. Or the Randy Orton to whomever's John Cena, but not necessarily as a heel himself.

"The Man" should be able to stay at the top level for 5/10 years with the same amount of interest at the start of his "The Man" run to the last, current case in point, John Cena. Out of that list, I can definitely see Roman Reigns having that appeal for that long as well as Dean Ambrose and Daniel Bryan. Seth Rollins as a face could work in that role as well. Randy Orton doesn't have the continual reaction that John Cena has, he's a very good talent but he doesn't gather reactions like John Cena often. Bray Wyatt I can't see being "The Man" as his character couldn't logically turn face and be it. Dolph Ziggler is a good mid-card talent, but that's all he'll be to me. I don't like Ryback so he naturally won't be my guess for "The Man". Out of the NXT roster, I can't really see any of them being "The Man", I can see all of the NXT Five being top tier talent with World Championship runs but I don't see them as being the top guy for extended periods of time at this point.

Flair was the franchise of WCW he was the man just like how Hogan was for WWE before he left for WCW and then Bret became The Man just like Shawn did just like Austin/Rock simultaneously became the Man and then Cena became the Man so something has gotta give Sorry, but I say Sting was the franchise of WCW! |

I think people forget that Edge's career got so much better AFTER his major neck surgery. And Austin too obviously. Bryan should be the man.
I love Rollins, but he is an amazing heel. I don't know if he'd be as great as a face. He can be the Triple H/Rock to Bryan's Austin.
But the next man will be Reigns, and I'm alright with that.

I think WWE is better off having 3-4 guys who could be the man. Late 90s had Rock, Austin, HHH who could all be THE guy and do a great job with it.
WWE has a great chance to build four guys here for years to come. Hopefully they don't screw it up.

I think as of right now, Seth Rollins is the best thing going in the WWE. Agreed. A well booked heel champ in the vein of HHH in 2000 is something WWE desperately needs. |
