This belt was one of my favourite belts growing up, the belt itself was around for a while, is it returning?
We have Rusev as the US Champion, it only makes sense to build some heat and bring this belt back removing the U.S. Belt. Some reasons for me bringing this up is Lana putting up a picture on Instagram of the belt accidentally, the European Belt being on sale as a replica on the shop at the moment, while some other belts aren't and also the fact the WWE making a top five video about the European belt.
Well hopefully they do bring it back, because I definitely like the look of the belt.

Never seen the big deal surrounding the European title. If anything it's less prestigious than the US Title.

British Bulldog wore that belt like a f'n champ because he's bizarre.
After losing the belt to HBK, it was pretty much "fooked".

I'd like to have the belt back for some time, even if it's just for the lower Midcard guys.

What about if a Japanese or Canadian win it, do we then put it as a Japanese or Canadian title? Its the US Title, its been the US Title for like 50 years. Just leave it alone. |

I never got the big deal about the European title. The only time I enjoyed the title was when Al Snow was doing the whole changing his gimmick to a European type character every week (I also liked when British Bulldog had the title in '97, but I didn't start watching till 2000)

I think so, though Bulgaria is a European country...Still though, it just doesnt make sense to change it. Its like, what if someone from Samoa wins the IC Title...he's part of an Island not a continent....so why carry an intercontinental title? |

Plus his logic of the European Title suiting a lot of guys on the current guys makes no sense. He mentioned Barrett, Cesaro, Rusev, and including Sheamus, that's four guys, FOUR that the title suits on. I didn't know four people was a lot on the current roster of about 40. I agree that the US Title should be left alone. That title should be a title for guys like Tyson Kidd, Adam Rose, Big E fight for. |

I've said it before and I'll say it again for all the non-European users on here who keep saying the belt would be great on Sheamus or Barrett.
People from the UK and Southern Ireland take absolutely zero pride in being part of Europe. It means nothing to us. That's why when anyone here is going on holiday to somewhere like Germany or France, we say "I'm off to Europe".
So bringing in a championship like that to try to appeal to the fanbase in England and Ireland would be a joke and actually, in all seriousness, feel a little insulting.

the european title was a prop belt given to the british bulldog to help him get over in the late 90's and to help sell tickets overseas then it became this novelty memory thing for wrestling fans when they dumped it the WWE has enough problems with booking their lower titles. they dont need to start changing things around. at this point the US title might as well just be retired for good. we don't need it anymore. id almost like to see Rusev just go on winning and then be like  this belt, im done and moving on to better things, and then the belt is given to Ric Flair by John Cena never to bee seen again. |
