Ive found that with a few of my most recently purchased elites that they seem to be extremely stiff. My series 31 Dean Ambrose won't move at the waist.
Also has anyone found that with the bigger guys, their legs barely move at all. I've had it with both Vader and Mark Henry. It really killed the Vader figure for me.
Are there any fixes for these problems at all? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks guys.

Applying a little elbow grease will fix the waist. As for the hips run them under hot tap water for a few minutes. Then put him in an outwards splits and then a seated position. After that let him stay in a seated position for a day and the hips would be fine after that.

My Bruno Sammartino was really stiff when I got him, but some hot tap water fixed that. Others have been more resistant to loosening up. I took a hot bath one night and took some of the stiffer figures with me and got them all loosened up, but then when they dried they just got stiff again. I think it might be because my house is a little chilly this time of year.

Keep doing hot water baths for them and if something is stuck, try to gently break the stuck part, not literally but you know what I mean. Just dont stress out the part, you'll know when it feels like its goung to break.
Also just manually move all the joints, more play = loose joints.
Had to do this with many of my elites

Loose/stiff joints are fixable. I'm more concerned with the constantly reversed kickpads in the Elite series. It's pretty much standard on all figures with the 2nd version kickpads and all the new Punks from E20 on have two left boots. His "right" boot is actually an incorrectly marked left boot. Of course, we probably don't have to worry about any future Punk figures, but it's really aggravating on other guys, especially when the boot designs are reversed.

Yup I feel ya I had the same problem with my VADER and henry too and as for the waist issue I've had that with dm Flair , HOF Ultimate warrior and lots more it's either that or the waist is Really Loose sometimes

Big E Langston's two elites, as well as all the Shield elites, have backwards shin pieces as well. It can be fixed with some boiling water and part swapping, it is just obnoxious that it does have to happen. How hasn't that been noticed?

The only times I've had figures with absolutely STUCK parts were Elite 1 Edge (waist) and Elite 4 Finlay (one thigh). Other than that, hot water has loosened them up.
Actually, saying that, about 90% of recent elites have pretty stuck ankles. Mostly I just ignore it, but when I tried to move them on one of my Usos, the foot just snapped right off.
The production/quality control on the elite figures seems to be cutting corners a lot lately. Tons of paint errors, leg/right leg errors etc.
On both elites and basics, the lower legs/shins/boots seem super warped a lot of the time as soon as they're opened. I don't know if it's wrong parts or the way they're posed in the package or what.

I correct whatever is easy to, but in the case of RVD or Y2J, since the text is printed on the outside, swapping the pieces around will still look wrong. Really wish they get a handle on this.

My E24 Miz has the reversed calves. Can't even swap them to fix it due to the designs. Looks really bad. QC is not in the budget though.

I had the same issues with all three figures.
Ambrose I just kept foribly rocking the torso back and forth , my E29 Goldust was like this too til I got another. I think it's just that torso .
The Henry legs took a few days to finally loosen up. When I bought him they were so stiff. I tried hot water stuff and no dice. Then the other day I picked him up and boom. His legs spread. I was so worried I broke him. But luckily he is fine now.
I've had two e31 Vaders both with major issues. The legs are horrible. My original one has a very loose torso and some paint app problems, so when I bought my second that one was even worse. The legs were straight stuck. You couldn't move one leg without the other leg moving with it. So I got rid of that , and eventually somehow snapped something inside of my original Vader because now his legs and torso are looser than any fig I've ever had. It's crazy.

When I read this I burst out laughing, it's total quality lol. You sir are a total legend.
