I have posted this idea before...
Dolph Ziggler and Curtis Axel team up and become "Natural" Nic Nemeth and "Perfect" Joe Hennig. The team is called "Naturally Perfect".

I think Slater & Rose could potentially work as a team too. Similar look, similar style, & gimmicks could work together.

Rowan & Sheamus: two ginger dudes with stiff, brawling styles. A guy against bullies & the biggest kayfabe ironic bully in WWE. Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel: Both 2nd generation guys. Dallas could be the motivational speaker to Curtis' career rut. Fandango & Adam Rose: Both delusional, arrogant dudes. They could constantly try to one up each other with entrances. Jack Swagger & Zack Ryder: The ultimate duo. Swags can make attempts to be the future Kurt Angle, while Ryder tries to blow out his hair, spray tan him and turn him to a Broski. Then Swags could try to 'amateur' Ryder up, give him a singlet and a flag. The new 'team Hell No' iyam. Bo Dallas as Curtis Axels life coach would be pretty damn funny TV. Axel becomes so depressed from not getting his Mania title shot that Bo has to step it to keep him motivated. |

Reunite PTP (why not?) Call up Cass & Enzo (keep em the exact same) Zack Ryder & Heath Slater (cocky conceded guys who have no game) Call up Lucha Dragons (help with the Spanish demographic with the absence of Mysterio) Add those four to the Usos, Dust Brothers, Cesaro/Kidd, Ascension, and possibly the Dudley's and you have a very full division. I could get on board with all of these, except... They're not going to do this. So calling up more teams won't really help. One team will "feud" (ie have a million matches) with the Usos, the rest will do nothing of note and have a million matches with each other. None of it will mean anything, and we'll just be in a cycle of needing more new teams because they've all gone stale. I'd rather them add some meaning to the division first and THEN call up/unite new teams, because otherwise I'd be worried that Cass and Enzo will be doomed from the start. There's no way they'd get three teams to mean enough by then. New Day vs Usos vs Kidd/Cesaro could be a hell of a match, but those six guys don't warrant a fifteen minute match on the Mania card when there are so many guys who do mean something who'll be struggling to get a spot. Seems more like something that'd go on Extreme Rules. |
