I wish I could just say 'all but five', but...
Rocky Rocky IV Rocky II Rocky III Rocky Balboa
Rocky V

Rocky
In most cases the original is the best.

I like them all. But if I had to choose a favorite it is a toss up between Rocky, Rocky III and Rocky V

The original is by far the best. Such an amazing movie from start to finish. Great drama, great characters, great ending. I really can't say enough good about it.
After that my favorites are: III- A whole lot of fun, and Mr.T is amazing as Clubber Lang. Mick's death was incredibly sad. Balboa- Probably the best drama since the original. A bit hammy at times, but it works IV- Not the best in many ways, but also a lot of fun. Very "America, F- Yeah!" Apollo's death actually hurts it for me, as it seemed forced. II- Good film, but a lot of it was just more of the same from the first. also, it goes through a large amount of time quickly. V- It has a few good moments, but that's about the best thing I can say for this one. Very diappointing.

When I saw this, for whatever reason I thought it was referencing the Rocks movies so I was gonna make a Balboa reference lol dont ask me why.
Rocky II is my favorite, Rocky snatching the brass ring for the first time, iconic ending. IV is a close second, the US/USSR storyline was so amazing, the political undertones, and the soundtrack was epic
I thought V was good, doesnt deserve the sometimes flack it gets. Rocky Balboa was an acceptible film to me. The family struggle, with his son, his brother in law, Adrian being gone. that was home hitting to me, even moreso today. I thought it was a true closing to the series that V was meant to be. Rocky's first and last big fight, he loses both, coming full circle.

Funny, I just watched the third, and I saw this thread, I prefer the fourth, it was pretty amazing, even though I love all Rocky movies.

Rocky is the best actual film.
Rocky IV is the most fun to watch, and the one I have watched the most.

Better gets to watching my friend. To be honest, I don't watch that many films anymore. Maybe I'll watch one a week. I much prefer TV shows as you get much more character development and there's more to love of a nice long tv series.. But I'll definitely give the first Rocky film a go at some point, I'll add it to the list.

But you cannot go wrong with Rocky and Rocky II.

I am actually just going through all the Rocky movies in the last few days. I got them on Blu Ray last summer and had yet to watch them, so I thought may as well now while there is so much snow outside.
I gotta say though, the first Rocky movie is the best. The funny thing is, that the Rocky movies are great for guys and girls to watch. The guys get the action and the fight which they love, and the girls get the love story between Rocky and Adrian that keep getting stronger as each movie goes on.

I'm trying to figure out how someone has never seen Rocky or Rocky III at the very least. They're on TV ALL the time. That's like people never seeing Jaws, or Wizard of Oz...
I'm sincerely surprised right now.
