UFC 183. Silva's back! Nick Diaz! That is all.

It wasn't his greatest performance but I thought Anderson moved very well while Nick Diaz was just himself

I thought he looked good... he moved well and seemed to use his repaired leg quite a bit. Diaz seemed very one dimensional though... and is pretty much tailor-made for Anderson's style. Still, for his first fight back, it's probably just what he needed... should be interesting to see where he goes from here - especially with talk of an interim title match/tournament being rumoured.
And if Nick sticks around, there's some great match-ups to be made with guys like Hendricks and MacDonald - and a rematch with Lawler.

Wanted Nick to win. The best part for me was the taunting at the beginning, it was all down hill from there.
Not to mention, commentary spending so much time blowing Silva.

No one has ever stood like that with Silva (Besides that Weidman ko) I thought that was a pretty incredible performance from Diaz, especially since he's not a middleweight. It's kind of hard to gauge things since both of them haven't fought for a while and Silva had the injury. Loved the fight, thought it was a close. That was a Silva taking his opponent more seriously after losing the title by clowning around again.

So Silva tested positive for steroids and Diaz positive for marijuana. Interesting development.

So Silva tested positive for steroids and Diaz positive for marijuana. Interesting development. Marijuana shouldn't be banned anyway, stupid to even test for it. It's not a PED, and golden boy Jones just got busted for coke, which isn't banned for whatever reason. Anderson just tainted his entire legacy. Plus, it makes Diaz' stock rise, because he went 5 rounds with a juiced up Silva lol. Too bad nothing will come of this, Diaz will probably retire, and Anderson will continue to be God in the eyes of Dana/Joe, at least until Jon Jones returns from rehab.

This is so disappointing... there's talk that Silva only took them to speed/aid his recovery - but still, it's tough to take in. Anderson Silva tested positive for two types of performance enhancing drugs prior to his UFC 183 main event clash with Nick Diaz, and he won’t talk to the media right now.
According to his doctor Marcio Tannure, who is also the medical director of the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA), Silva is devastated with the news, but claims he did not take drostanolone and androstane, the two banned substances found in his system.
"Anderson told me he’s disappointed, upset because he didn’t use steroids," Dr. Tannure told Band News radio. "He will ask for the confirmation test because he believes the only explanation is a contamination or a mistake from the lab. He told me: ‘I have an impeccable career history and I wouldn’t want to tarnish my image.’"
"It’s too soon to judge," he continued. "He has the right to a confirmation test and two other results. The Nevada Athletic Commission hasn’t talked yet, and the press is already judging him. The process isn’t over yet. If the whole process was already over, he would have already been suspended."
Dr. Tannure was involved in controversial cases in the past. He was once accused by UFC heavyweight Antonio Silva of being responsible for his positive test after a draw with Mark Hunt in 2013. Ten months later, CABMMA was accused by Piotr Hallman of making a mistake in his drug test results, which ended up causing his positive test after a loss to Gleison Tibau in Brazil.

And Anderson goes unpunished and still gets to coach TUF, lol typical Dana protect no matter if it makes you and your company look like damn fools or not.

I'm an anderson fan, through and through. But, I even feel he needs to be properly punished.
Will be a complete shame if nothing happens with the hearing.

Well, apparently Silva's second test came back clean. UFC have removed him as the TUF coach though (Big Nog is replacing him).

Based on his last performance and recent controversies, I think Silva is not yet back in the game. He needs to set things straight if he wants to prove his legacy..
