Official Monday Night Raw Thread: 2/2/2015

Shaaaaaaadup and play nice, Palmer. (I feel like I'm saying that to you a lot lately. )

RAW was solid. I've grown to just ignore the opening promo from HHH EVERY week because I know I'll hear about it during every match, before and after every commercial break and it'll be replayed with their key hashtag talking points at least two times an hour.

Matches were good. Ryback and Harper was borderline great. Bryan and Rollins were THE performers of the night.

I fully expect to see seven more Big Show/Reigns matches between now and Mania.

Last night was "Let's break up ALL the tag teams!" night. Kind of annoying.

Paige getting NWO'd was done kind of sh*tty.

Booker and JBL sandbagging Cole all show: Beautiful.

"I'm sorry for what you're about to see" last week, now "You were the hero, but now I am. Want to change that? Come find me" this week. Bray's carrying this Undertaker feud into the next universe. Love it.

FastLane is shaping up to be entertaining. All in all, good RAW.

Fun show. Wyatt/Ziggler and Rollins/Bryan were great. Reigns only had one cringe-inducing moment. Wyatt's promo was fantastic. Lots of positives to take away.

I enjoyed the podcast too. I didn't think Triple H deserved half of the criticism he got here. I rolled my eyes a few times, and he danced around some questions, but the company seems like it would be in far better shape in his hands than it is in Vince's.

The Stone Cold Podcast was pretty good, I feel like they wasted most of the time with Triple H talking about love of historical wrestling, or why he likes NXT, or the different components that go into booking a show. Except for mentioning Chyna, they didn't really get into anything controversial. Triple H completely skirted the question about Punk.

The stuff about Roman was kind of interesting, but again.....Austin really didn't press what WWE see's in Roman to be pushing him this hard this soon, and Triple H didn't respond to if the angle at the end of RAW was WWE pulling the plug on Roman at Wrestlemania.

And obviously everything they talked about was approved before hand, because the second Austin transitioned to a new topic, before he even got the question out of his mouth, they had a picture up on the video screen. Pics of Chyna and Punk that had no reason to be in the queue unless the questions were pre-planned.

So really, these podcasts are ok....but like everything else in WWE, they are too heavily scripted.

Missed Raw last night and just watched the podcast now. Really enjoyed it and like others have said, his answers and comments actually meant something, unlike Vince's slick responses.
I do have one negative comment. His whole Chyna explanation was bullcrap. There were 12 years where she could have been invited to be in the Hall of Fame. What was the excuse then? Now, 15 years later because of what she did they put the blame on her.

I love reading through this thread and seeing the butthurt from the anti Triple H crowd.

The podcast was a great listen and much better than Triple H's appearance on Talk Is Jericho. That episode featured too much on his start in the WWE whereas Austin's was focused more on today. Austin didn't waste time with the questions either. I wasn't expecting Chyna to be brought up. The comments about Punk being moody is 100% believable and doesn't suprise me in the least. Seeing how calm he was during the Punk question makes me think Punk exaggerated the comments he made on Colt's podcast.

If there is to be another guest, it has to be Taker. There's really no one else that could live up to the expectation of Mr McMahon and Triple H.

Great episode of RAW this week. Main event was awesome.
