Bryan and Ziggler would wrestle circles around Sting, even in his prime. That's not saying that his match against Triple H is going to be bad. I think it'll tell a great story but Bryan and Ziggler are gonna tear the roof off come WrestleMania, from a pure WRESTLING standpoint. Stealing the show involves more than having a technically sound match. Malenko and Guerrero had some fantastic technical matches but the crowd couldn't give two craps and a hollar about them. By comparison Hogan and Rock just had to LOOK at eachother and they had one of the best matches of all time because of the feeling they created. Sting's long overdue debut will overshadow anything that Bryan or Ziggler could ever dream of. Oh, and in his Prime, Sting was far better than Bryan and Ziggler. They're both great talents, but not Sting level. You realize Bryan and Ziggler are the most over faces in WWE right now? They are going to tear the roof off that place and leave the building in rubble for the rest of the show. Sting is 15 years past his prime, he should have showed up in 2002/03, Maybe he would have been better off but he is nothing special. He was wrestling mid card TNA guys for the last 5 years of his career, but lets just pretend that doesn't exist. Right?

This could be good. I say turn Bryan into kind of a heel. Like a tweener. His whole deal could be that he's the most over guy in the company but he gets held back because the office doesn't believe in him. Ziggler could be on his side until Ziggler gets an opportunity over Bryan. Bryan turns on him. Bryan wins a great match at Mania. Ziggler moves on to get lost in the shuffle as usual and Bryan moves on to take on Reigns. Bryan eventually wins the title as a heel that always thinks someone is out to screw him.

One of few guys who transcended the entire wrestling industry and became a household name. The only guy to do just that without needing Vince McMahon. No one cares about TNA. For most people, Sting has been out of commission for the last (nearly) 14 years.

Oh, and in his Prime, Sting was far better than Bryan and Ziggler. They're both great talents, but not Sting level.I always found Sting to be pretty mediocre in the ring without a really good opponent, to be honest. He was like the late-80s to mid-90s version of John Cena. And the less said about his time in TNA, the better. I think it's neat that they got Sting, even if he looks like the guy at the end of The Last Crusade after he drank from the wrong grail, but come on... his match with Triple H, spectacle or not, is going to suck. Sting's the biggest star in wrestling history that hasn't yet wrestled for WWE, but he's still on that clear second tier of guys below the transcendent legends. As someone else mentioned, it's a shame they didn't get him like thirteen years ago. Then he might have been able to somewhat carry his own weight. But lately he's looked terrible and many of his in-ring performances have been embarrassing. Oh well, we'll always have Monday Nitro.

This could potentially be HBK vs Y2J at WM19. Those guys stole the show.
If Ziggler/Bryan goes on first, I'll honestly only watch that and catch the rest of the show later.

good. Smart move by Bryan.
No offense to Sheamus but that would be the most random and pointless match ever. Bryan and Ziggler could have a Steamboat/Savage match...hell they should just put the IC title back on Ziggler and have them go at it. Why not? Bryan knows he's not going anywhere near the main event, so lets work with a guy he can absolutely tear the roof off the building with. I hope this happens and I hope it's amazing.

I always thought of Sting as the WCW Bret Hart, but just not as good. But certainly a fantastic wrestler, and someone who could bring out a good match against a Vader, a Jake, a Hogan, a Nash or a Flair.

Sting's long overdue debut will overshadow anything that Bryan or Ziggler could ever dream of. A 55 year old Sting vs the plodding, dull style of Triple H, which lead to such clunkers as WM 18 vs Jericho and WM 25 vs Orton? Hey, maybe you will be right, but I just don't see it happening.

Bryan/Ziggler is really the only thing they can do at this point. They've already ruined their chance of doing Bryan vs. Lesnar, and any way they could think of throwing Bryan into the title match would probably just make him look like a sore loser. He doesn't have the same claim he did last year. Might as well let Bryan and Ziggler put on the MOTN, and make it a number one contender match too. I agree with all of this except for the number 1 contender spot. I don't want either guy to inevitably get jobbed out to Reigns. Have Reigns have a dumbass program with Kane where he tries to run away from him in his car. That should make him look reeal strong. Anywho, these two are going to make each other look amazing. Should be an instant classic. I almost feel bad for anyone who has to follow them. I'm half expecting (half hoping) Rollins cashes in on Reigns at the end of WrestleMania, so the winner of Bryan/Ziggler could face him.

I'd have a slow build of HHH referring to Dolph as always being a "B+" guy if he continues down the same path as Bryan. Bryan would be a voice of reason and trying to keep Dolph as an ally against the authority. Dolph eventually turns heel and says he joined the authority because he is better than Bryan and will not be satisfied being a "B+" guy like Daniel.
Of course this is too much thinking for the wwe creative team for the wm main event, let alone a modcard match. We likely won't get any story if this match happens.

If the crowd aren't chanting "This is Awesome" before the match even starts, I'll eat my hat.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that we're likely getting Seth Rollins vs Randy Orton. I'm as big a Ziggler fan as there gets, but you know damn well that Orton and Rollins are going to get more substance to their feud and they could potentially torch the place too. With the way Orton left the Authority, he's going to be over again as a baby and fans love tween baby faces. I think those two are going to be looking to have match of the night as well and just shouldn't be shrugged off.
Anvil has a point also, HHH vs Sting could turn into another Rock vs Hogan type of deal. HHH can crush it with a guy past his prime. He's not that far removed from that WM28 match and those two will undoubtedly have the Authority angle riding strong and fast into Mania, potentially with the actual end of the Authority on the line. People can say whatever they want, but Sting heading into Mania is going to be as big a legends type of confrontation as they've ever had to that live audience. Every smark in the building is going to know the WWF vs WCW backstory. Sting is the franchise of WCW and HHH is Vince Jr., who feels he put WCW out of business.
It's going to be a beautiful story and I don't think Sting is going to have a problem doing what Sting does. It's not going to be a work rate match but it should be an incredible spectacle. For me it's so, so, bittersweet. That WCW flame that burns inside Sting's heart is finally going to be put out after Mania. For those of us who loved WCW, who loved those characters, that war, that competition, this is truly all that is left. This is the ONLY story left for WCW and it's about to be over. There is a huge emotional factor there for me, both as a massive Sting fan, and a die hard WCW fan.
Don't get me wrong though, Ziggler vs Bryan could end up legendary depending upon the crowd. I think it's going to be amazing to watch a smark crowd cheer for these two guys. I'm expecting a Steamboat vs Savage type of technical showdown, and I'm not a guy who says that in passing. I do agree, it needs some story, some build, but I honestly don't think it needs that much. They've already had one of the best technical WWE matches ever imo. So they can definitely do it again, but I think if this is done correctly that it could be one of the best Mania matches ever. I think they're going to get over 15 mins no matter what, so I'm not expecting time to be an issue. Even if it is though, they can both work a fast pace match that delivers.
I'm genuinely thrilled Bryan won't be working against Sheamus. I think that match is about as unnecessary as it gets for him and at least with Ziggler the audience already cares about the other guy.

I can dig that. Whilst I'm not big on Daniel Bryan, that has the potential to be a hell of a match.

make it a triple threat #1 contender ladder match with ambrose, since so far he has nothing to do at wm and deserves a big match as well. of course knowing wwe ziggler and bryan will probably lose to big show and kane in a tag match at wm.

Bet it won't even have a story, it'll just be filler. Exactly what the E wants, they are glad he's not like Punk/other top guys, they want yes men and it looks like they got one.

Daniel Bryan & Dolph Ziggler proposed the match with no storylines behind it, it was just "wanna wrestle at Mania lol?" and "yeah sure lol".
