I dont understand the love for Mariota. His pocket presence is very average at best. Yes he can run around but its been proven the last couple years that isnt going to work in the NFL. People kept seeing what Kaepernick, RG3 and Wilson were doing in 2012 and thought it was the new thing but it was only a flash in the pan. The NFL adapted and completely shut that down. The 49ers had to make a pocket QB out of Kap, and he threw for the most yards of his career. Wilson has adapted as well but his offensive numbers still arent anything special. The guy went to 2 Super Bowls but its his defense and Marshawn Lynch that lead them there. Trent Dilfer could have QB'ed the past 2 Seattle teams. RG3 has refused to adapt and because of that he stays injured and will likely be out of the league in a few years. I absolutely hate Jamis Winston but if someone can mature him (which I doubt) and keep his head in a playbook, he'll be the better NFL QB...Unless he ends up in Tampa Bay of course. Yeah, I have been telling people all yr that Mariota is a project, a big one at that. Just looking at him he is the prototypical great college QB that struggles in the NFL. It is going to take time and a lot of hard work for him to be good I feel. Not saying he can't do it, but I wouldn't hold my breath. He is a 1 read and run guy, the fast pace is a huge benefit, and I don't know if he has ever took a snap from under center. All these draft people that had him #1 and above Winston I thought was laughable. Always said Winston would be the top QB taken unless he rapes his dog or something between now and April.

I think the whole thing with QBs is funny, especially nowadays. I mean, how often is the first guy taken the most successful guy from that draft?
2014: Blake Bortles (Derek Carr honestly looks like the most promising from this group if I'm being honest) 2013: EJ Manuel (this class was crap overall, but Mike Glennon was better in his short time, at least he looked competent) 2012: Andrew Luck (yeah, only real competition here is Russel Wilson, but Luck definitely wins here) 2011: Cam Newton (again, probably the most talented of the group, but there hasn't been a really successful QB in this draft [Andy Dalton probably second]) 2010: Sam Bradford (dude hasn't played more than one full season, this class was pretty bad overall with Colt McCoy being second best) 2009: Matthew Stafford (yeah, another case where it's obvious, this actually went in order of success Mark Sanchez and Josh Freeman being the next two) 2008: Matt Ryan (I'd argue Joe Flacco is better based on post season success, but Ryan is definitely very good himself) 2007: JaMarcus Russell (what a disaster this year was, I'd say Kevin Kolb or Trent Edwards is the best of this bunch) 2006: Vince Young (Jay Cutler is [maybe] still starting in the league, only QB from this draft to be doing so) 2005: Alex Smith (Aaron Rodgers was in this draft and Alex Smith is the epitome of mediocre, this draft was actually pretty decent overall) 2004: Eli Manning (I'd say Ben Roethlisberger is the best of this group based on career, but can see the argument for Eli or Phillip Rivers even) I'd say there are really only three QBs that were clearly the best (Luck, Newton, and Stafford) with a couple others only being the best because there was literally not a single good player in the whole bunch (Bradford, MAYBE Manuel) in eleven years. I could keep going back, but meh I put enough effort into this post. I guess what I'm saying is the I think Winston is going to be a big bust, and Mariota will be much better and just because Winston is rated higher means absolutely nothing if recent history says much. Winston is talented for sure, but he's gotta be one of the biggest bone heads I've seen go through college. Even worse than Manziel.

Only Patriot hold out that I remember actually sticking around was Wilfork, I know Mankins was eventually traded, Seymour too. New England doesnt look kindly on that, so if Revis pulls that, he might be gone too

And they say Seattle has no class? Boo hoo. Mockingly checking the air pressure of the ball before the game started, pretending to take a crap in the Pats end zone and then starting a fight the play after Wilson threw the interception just shows how "classy" they are. Awe, the Seahawks can't handle some crap being talked about them after all the crap they've said over the season as well as the lead-up to the Super Bowl?

Question, what did Marshawn Lunch exactly do or say about the Patriots for Blount to do this? What exactly did Blount do this season that warrants this? This is not "trash talk" that's just straight garbage. The parade is when you're supposed to forget about what happened before and celebrate the win with your fans. Not hold up a t-shirt containing profanity when there are fans of all age watching your actions. I'm sure the parents were thrilled that their kids wanted a bitch mode t-shirt. And I don't remember Seattle pulling off such asinine actions last year during their parade?

For the shenanigans the Hawks pulled during the game as mentioned above, along with the Sherman 24 taunt. All the crap the media talked during week 4 (Pats aren't that good anymore, bench Brady, O-line can't get it done, McDaniels is a joke). Then the excuses from Harbaugh with deception.. Deflate gate. All that hate. They kept there mouths shut, and did the talking on the field. When you keep talking all kinds of hot air, there's a breaking-point. They just waited till the finally. Call me biased but the Pats were entitled to let it out during the parade. I was there and people were tossing all kinds of things at the team (got my hat signed by Vereen). Edleman was WASTED doing fireball shots, smashed a champagne on the boat. As far as the posters of Sherman that he mocked and smashed, the shirt that Blount held up after a fan tossed it to him, everything was justified in my eyes. Blount after, tweeted "About the shirt.. Just so ppl know, I have 100% respect for Lynch and how he plays the game. There's a reason he's called beastmode.

Either talk trash and be known for that or take the win like you've been there and keep it civil. Don't act like you're so classy and above what the Seahawks did, only to come out with the opposite attitude afterwards. Everybody knows that the Seahawks don't care for being classy and talk trash, and at least they own it. And what the hell does the media have to do with the Seahawks? You're basically saying that the lack of class the Pats showed is justified, and you support it because they were the victims of it for so long. But you're right. I need to learn to respect Blount who's known for conflicting with his college coach, Mike Bellotti, at Oregon for not following team rules, who sucker punched an opposing player AFTER the game, who also got into a fight with his own teammate in Tennessee, who was caught with possession of marijuana last year with the Steelers, who walked out on the very same team during a game because he wasn't getting the ball, and the guy who rushed for a total of whopping 40 yards in the biggest game of his career. All because his emotions were bottled up for so long (joining the Pats in week 12) and he just couldn't take all the hate anymore. Wow, I understand his pain now.

I don't know about you, but when someone keeps on slapping me in the back of the head, eventually I'm going to turn around and punch that person in the face. When you sign to there organization, there told to keep it in check "patriots way". The guys that lashed out probably said screw it we just won the SB I'm going to be me. It's like Gronk going crazy at the clubs, Kimmel, and drinking on the boat while someone's driving. Do you think he would of done that during the season?! Course not. They just won the SB, they don't care if there's repercussions. Out of a 50 plus roster and 20 plus coach/personal I'm surprised only a few decided to "mock out".

LeGarrett Blount has no room to call anyone a bitch. If you take your ball and go home because you're not good enough to start on a team, or even take a couple of rest snaps when the starter takes a couple plays off, don't say crap about an elite player at your position; whether Lynch is the world's worst media troll or the Seahawks are...whatever the Seahawks are. If Brady, Edelman, Wilfork, Revis, Butler, Gronk...hell, if Ridley held the shirt, I would take it as trollhard shenanigans. But from Blount, it's ing intellectually- disabled.

But I don't think what Blount did was in spite. He was thrown that shirt by a fan(which you can buy @ Sullysbrand.com for only 17.99). He probably looked at the shirt, laughed and just held it up. He said what he said on twitter about the shirt and lynch.

It wasnt like he picked what shirt was thrown to him. Edelman mocking Sherman is fine, Sherman sucks and talks WAY too much. The entire Seahawks team talked so much trash and Sherman did it DURING THE GAME! Blount caught a shirt, flaunted it, apologized after. It doesnt look good but this wasnt premeditated like Jeremy Lane saying Gronk wasnt good or anything Sherman does

Just a very tone deaf comment from someone who wants to be taken seriously as an authority figure here.
