Yeah. And who knows. The finished versions of either could look different and my opinion could change. I don't like how on the Mattel version, his shirt looks tucked in. On the other hand, we haven't seen the roh torso yet and if they don't have the umaga, bam bam or Trevor Murdock ra torsos to put under a fabric shirt, I'm worried. He has the torso mold from the King basic figure with the shirt that goes over it... I'm sure he'll have that. Is that what kings torso looks like under the shirt? Any pics?

OK, why is mattel being discussed in this topic??? Time to clean up again... Pretty sure a discussion on what the Steen figure and the Owens figure might look like compared to each other is semi-relevant to the topic. I think the problem is just that we aren't getting much to talk about since this company doesn't feel the need to show many pics of their product, so people are reaching.

Read or listen to their interviews. Its been said over and over again why nothing gets leaked. Its like a broken record at this point. The facts have been said 1)they don't have to do proto pics since these are not being sent to retail and 2)its in their deal anything they want to release has to be cleared by ROH so maybe ROH doesn't want to do anything yet.

I get that bro. It doesn't matter why they can't or won't show anything, regardless of who's decision that is. People are wanting to be excited, but there isn't a lot to go on yet, so it only feeds into people speculating and reaching for stuff to talk about.

Believe me I want to see these more than anything. I plan on buying all of ROH and most of the indy and legend guys. I personally am excited about the line after seeing and hearing some of the interviews. You can tell the guy who is handling these lines is really into what he's doing and wants it to be successful. Plus since they're based on the JAKKS style it gives me an idea how they'll look already.

I'm sure this has been asked a billion times but I'm new and can't bother to look at 58 pages but when are these being released? And any news on what the first line is?

You know as much as we do about release date. The first wave of ROH is Kevin Steen (Owens), the Briscoe Boys, and Adam Cole. The first waves of indie and legends lines are both unannounced.

Unless THIS CoMpANY get rights from Japan, he won't have a figure. Same for Mattel, he would have to sign a legends deal, and Jaoan would have to release his rights.

Liger's been freelance for about 7 or 8 years now. Mostly just works for NJPW but does dates for whoever books him. I've seen him in DDT, BJW, Dragon Gate.. I'm sure he's done indy sleeze too. Even a few TNA dates over the years. I'm not sure if the NXT special is a one off or if he's signed some sort of deal with WWE, but Liger has nothing tying him down anywhere. If he did, he wouldn't be working for WWE...
