Wow. 90% of you are the biggest bitches I've ever experienced. I can't imagine how you react when you encounter a REAL, I repeat REAL, problem in your lives. I hope you never get fired/laid off, lose a family member, can't afford bills, wind up homeless on the street, etc. Based on how you react to a headsculpt or boot mold you don't like, I imagine such REAL problems would be the end of you. truth

No need to ridicule someones work and livelihood because you want different boot molds. If you took offense you must be one of those people.

We would know if there was some sort of thread where the person in charge of the line could update the first post with all of the information. Thing is that post will become full of complaints too; I can't lock that, because then the OP can't update the list. If you lock it and sticky it, he can.

Nobody has said anything to personally insult Chris nor would I expect anyone to. We've criticized the product made by the company he works for but even if he constructed by hand every part of the figure, a criticism of the figure is not a personal attack. It's people voicing their opinion. As a consumer, I can't be worried about hurting the producers feelings or it would result in me being broke and unhappy.

I get what you're saying, but if you take the time to read through the comments, There are multiple posts of people complaining saying that the line is "dead before it even begins" because of improper molds, saying that the head sculpts suck or that they look nothing like the wrestlers (all of which we have seen are pretty spot on especially considering they aren't scans), and some saying they are "pissed " they aren't getting what they want. Am I saying people shouldn't make suggestions or give opinions? Not at all, I'm sure one of the main reason Chris is on here is for constructive criticism, but to insult the product or say it sucks or will suck is just downright disrespectful. As I've stated multiple times throughout this 77 page thread, we can't expect these lines to be perfect, but from what we've seen FTC is clearly putting in the work and producing some nice stuff. After all, they are the "little guys" producing figures of the "little guys". Let's just give them a little credit.

^exactly
people are acting like this is Jakks Pacific coming back from the dead and saying "hey guys look! we're continuing Classic Superstars and making an Indy line!"
it's not. This is a completely different company, making THEIR OWN versions of wrestlers. They don't have a multi-million dollar factory facility at their disposal. They don't have the tools to create 5 different heads for one person. They also don't have the resources to have a completely different body & parts for every single figure they are making. Sometimes things just need to be what they are.
We're getting action figures of guys whom would NEVER even see the light of day unless the WWE or Mattel deemed them worthy. So if they have "balloon arms" or "bobble heads"...which are two GROSSLY OVER-USED descriptive words for TOYS....oh well, you're not getting a figure of _______ any other way than this.
The line has a chance to be great, but if you're seriously going to sit back and not purchase something because it has the wrong boots or the head is 2cm bigger than you think it "should" be....than don't complain if they aren't making the figures you want. The way for this line to succeed and to get better than it needs to be successful from a business standpoint.
Criticism and flat out crapting on the product are two different things.

DA arms are exactly the same as RA arms Wrong. All DA arms are a completely different sculpt/mold to any RA ones. Compare the sculpt lines. Also. the DA arms are slightly longer. I hope they don't use them but judging by this pro to pic I guess they can only use what parts they've brought which is a shame. Still going to be great looking figures, nothing simple parts swaps can't fix.

Another person might disagree and say what they're producing is a waste of plastic. Both are plausible opinions and belong in this thread. I haven't seen anyone post negative comments that were totally baseless. I've heard only legitimate concerns. Whether you're merely satisfied with the product they've shown or you actually love them and wouldn't change anything, I would hope you'd have enough perspective to understand that not everyone feels that way and might actually care about things like part choices, attire choice or the facial sculpt likeness, regardless of what the explanation may be for why it's not to that person's satisfaction. As one of the more critical people, I totally understand that not all people have the same concerns I do and may have a totally different appreciation for these products. And still there are others that are even more critical than me. I simply state my opinion here and engage in discussion but ultimately, what will speak the loudest is my wallet when I either do or do not buy these figures.

Damn, this thread convo is very heated including the person who suppose to keep things in control. After reading this thread and seeing some of the prototypes, the criticisms is not as unwarranted as most are making it. I get they are limited in resources and money but certain things are within their control like figure head sizes. And calling people bitches for not accepting things 100% or threatening to close the thread comparing the figs to Jakks (which the molds are)? C'mon, you suppose to be better than that. I seriously hope the lines are successful because the more wrestling figure lines, the better. But folks are so damn salty and taking ish way too personal.

Also, I heard the latest podcast you did where you mention how the Mego figs are made to be displayed and not played with. Is that the same with the wrestling lines? I play with my action figures and I'm just worried that these aren't going to built for that and will break easily. Thanks in advance and love everything I've seen!

I have no idea who Elgin is or what he looks like, but it's a very nice looking figure. The Blue Meanie sculpt looks awesome and I'll be buying it for my attitude era collection just to add the extra variety. Can not wait to see Jim Cornette. If there was a place to blind pre order I would. He's my #1 most wanted manager, even over Bobby. I'm sure we will never ever get a Mattel version so I'll gladly be purchasing him.

Very nice! I hope they make slots in his hair/behind his ears for sunglasses. I can't imagine a Joey Ryan without removable sunglasses!

Sucks that I have to go through 77 pages of complaining just to see 3 heads. We've seen an Elgin finished figure, painted heads for Briscoes, Steen, and Cole, and sculpted heads for Ryan, Meanie, and Compton. So, you actually see 8 heads.

True, I wasnt counting the 4 painted original heads cause I thought they were on the first page (which looking back they're not).......I must have missed the Compton somewhere between the "Meanie didnt have a beard..." and the "JAKKS heads are too damn big.." Arguments.

Odd that Candice LaRae hasn't been announced yet.
Two former TNA names I hope get on board are James Storm and Mickie James. After seeing how great Elgin's leather coat came out, I'd love to see that craftsmanship put into Storm's entrance gear. A Hardcore Country Mickie James is long overdue.
