what is the best type of figure paint to use for customs???

Model Masters Acrylic
Make sure you soak your figures in hot soapy water before you paint to take off the factory sealer.

I've used Tamiya Acrylics for all my customs, even the sprays. Only thing that isn't from Tamiya is the matte clear coat spray I use from Volks USA.

I am not sure that I will ever attempt making my own custom, but I've been debating giving it a go lately so I have a question.
Would the paint some of you mentioned be good on both hard plastic figures and the LJN type, or would each type of figure require a different paint?
