Does the plasma Ecto fit the figures inside, or no? I missed out on the pre-order but like was said, for 49.99 I feel like I'll probably be able to find it in stores. they definitely did not show off any figures inside when they were showing it on the panel, so I'm not sure.

From panel when they had it in hand, it really didn’t look big enough to fit figures inside. Hopefully I’m wrong on that.

The fact that they didn't show any figures inside it, and it's only 50 bucks leads me to believe that it will not fit the Plasma figures. Someone on Twitter had a thought that perhaps they'll be dropping a smaller scale of figure next year that they haven't revealed yet.

Seriously? Why would they make a Plasma series Ecto 1 that doesn't fit the Plasma series figures?! Glad I'm only a casual GB fan

I think the specs are 17x9” on it. Pretty sure that should fit the figures.
Hasbro already showed off those smaller figures and an Ecto-1 with them. It was different from this one. They were called Classic Fright Features and they’re like 5”, I think. The car was $29.99. This was around ToyFair time.

Did anyone else order the Real Ghostbusters statues from Chronicle Collectibles? I’ve tried contacting them twice with no response. I know there’s a lot going on in the world, was just trying to get an update.

I just put the Real Ghostbusters fire house on my saved search list on eBay, I loved that thing as a kid, would love to get it back now (complete & at a price that won't kill me).

I'm only a casual GB fan so can anyone tell me has Hasbro said anything recently about the future of their Real Ghostbusters line? Would be nice to see a reissue of the Kenner Firehouse (ideally in 2 paint variants - one with the purple bricks, one with just plain bricks - just like the original release had.) ...or even better a newly designed deluxe version for adult collectors, based on the original toy (kinda like what Mattel did a few years back with their MOTUC Castle Grayskull) though obviously we'd see newly designed RGB figures appear first before that idea had any chance of happening, so I'm just going into fantasy land here...
Also have Hasbro said anything about reissuing any Kenner RGB roleplay items? e.g. proton pack, ghost trap, etc? Since the original proton pack prices are nuts even in average used condition.

Also have Hasbro said anything about reissuing any Kenner RGB roleplay items? e.g. proton pack, ghost trap, etc? Since the original proton pack prices are nuts even in average used condition. The Hasbro team said the RGB retros are going to continue, but didn’t elaborate on what that meant. Just that the first wave was a success and expect more figures. No info about vehicles or the Firehouse. We are getting more role play items. The popper is up for pre-order on Walmart. www.walmart.com/ip/Only-At-Walmart-Ghostbusters-Kenner-Classics-Ghostpopper-Retro-Blaster-Action-Toy-with-6-Foam-Pops-Projectiles/759758080The Afterlife kids proton pack looks pretty similar to the Kenner release. So that’s likely what we get as far as the proton pack and wand. Plus the PKE meter and whistle are coming alongside those, too. I’m hoping they do the trap next in the vein of the popper. But long story short, we’re getting more, but don’t know what beyond what we’ve already seen.

With the Spengler Neutrona Wand being as awesome as it is, I really hope that Hasbro announce other role play collectibles soon. I know people are dying for a full size proton pack, but that would probably run like $300 at least....based on what I've spent to buy and mod my Spirit Pack, a LEGIT one would cost way too much and probably wouldn't sell.
I'm talking more about a PKE Meter, Trap, and maybe a GB1 Neutrona Wand. I'm probably one of the few people who would actually buy a Giga-Meter, too.
I'm assuming they probably have a PKE Meter and Trap planned due to how much those items are shown in the Afterlife trailer....Covid put so much stuff on hold. They need to have product when the movie ends up coming out, in theaters or streaming or however they end up doing it, so I understand why the Plasma Series is sort of on pause right now.

I’m sure its a long shot but I’d love to see them do collector style props from Real Ghostbusters. A bright blue wand, PKE and trap full size would be so damn cool. Everything from the cartoon has been sized to kids understandably so. Full size cartoon props, I feel, would sell extremely well.

I know some people would want the pack to be realistic down to an actual nuclear core inside, but I'd be happy with them making a screen accurate one that was say, hollow or something to keep the price point down as much as they could. It would just be a display piece anyway, so what the hell...why not?

Did the first Plasma series wave get a reprint? I've been seeing tons of them in Walmart and Target over the last week or two.

It would just be a display piece anyway, so what the hell...why not? I agree with you. I think if it was mostly a hallow shell that LOOKED accurate, I don't need to have complicated electronics that connect to the wand or make any sound. Right now, my Spirit pack has Frankengeek lights in it and all the sound comes from the wand, which is just connected with empty split loom. So Hasbro just needs to replicate the spirit pack in a real scale. So let's say Hasbro did this: A.L.I.C.E Frame costs like $50 Frakengeek lights cost like $50 So if they could make a real scale plastic shell that was just visually accurate, and keep the cost of that at around $50-$75, and then attach it to an A.L.I.C.E Frame that had JUST LIGHTS.....you could maybe pull it all off for like $150-$175? And people will still mod it, people mod everything. People can still add their real metal shock mounts and clippard valves...etc. But for others, the plastic clippard that comes with it might be fine. I didn't take off the plastic one from the Spengler wand because it's fine for me.
