Why wasn't the ref counting the 5 count when Bryan had Big Show in the ropes? same reason he didn't count at all while they were outside the ring for 47 seconds but counted in Reigns' match when they were outside the ring Because reasons. |

I still think peeps here seriously underestimate how much average fans really do dig Roman, still. You only need to look as far as Facebook, or Twitter. There are of course detractors (obviously) but -- whole lot of fans. And WWE says, "you can never please everyone." I think a lot of us are waiting on something to dig. He's just not gotten any development. Giving him the title now would be like giving Warrior the title at WM4 or while he was still tagging with the Bulldogs in 6 mans. Oh, I'm not saying anything about anyone here...as Kev and I have civilly discussed several times on here, I get that most people here only dislike the fact that he's being pushed so quickly when some facets could be worked on, first... I'm simply perusing Facebook, and he really does have a considerable fan base. I'm a fan, mostly of the potential he has, but -- I'm a fan of all 3 members of the Shield, for the same reason. Reigns got shorted a few months that he clearly needed to develop. Came back, and they put him right back in the spot he was going to be in, anyways. He needed those few months, if they were insisting on him going to WM. I say that as a fan, but -- Reigns as champ means at least the champ will be on TV, and it's not Cena/Orton. I'm happy enough, with that. |
