We can have a pissing contest about this all night. I can bring up all the times Reigns and Cena were able to dispose of the Authority like a bunch of chumps over the summer too. We'll get nowhere since they don't apply whatsoever to the segment we just watched.They do though. Bryan no sells "whatever" Roman no sells "oh my god Roman made Bryan look like crap"....PLEASE. Daniel is just as much Superman as Cena and Reigns. I've never said Bryan hasn't done in the past, because he has. But we're talking about tonight's segment and Bryan was definitely selling more than Reigns was tonight. |

This isn't a debate to even fight about. This is just dumb. I like Reigns, BUT he is absolutely booked way over his talent level. It's happened before, it'll likely happen again. He's still incredibly green in the ring. Now, that said, his role tonight, aside from the main event, was perfect. Even his promo wasn't bad. No whats dumb is the fact that people who like reigns and want him to succeed and improve constantly point out every little flaw he does and makes some sorta big deal about it.He cuts a decent promo and some people go "OMG HORRIBLE PROMO,ETC" does a small botch "OMG DID YOU SEE THAT BOTCH YOU SAW THAT AND THIS IS WHO WWE WANTS TO MAKE US BELIEVE IN!!","GREAT MATCH BUT BRYAN,SETH,SOMEONE MORE EXPERIENCE THAN HIM DID ALL THE WORK!!" Because people know Seth carried Roman to a good match. Though I'm not sure which match that would be. Their encounters were decent to me. If Roman can be a guy who can be carried to a good match, that's fine. Right now, he's just not a guy that can elevate his opponent to do better. We've seen Cena get a pretty solid match out of Khali. Do you really think we could see Reigns, right now, carry a guy like... shit... Who the hell can I compare to Khali? Kane? Show? |

I for one enjoyed Roman's Rumble win, it was a massive implosion that could be appreciated by those with the proper palate. Maybe Vince has always been a master troll.
Off the top of my head ... Sheik's win over Backlund, hiring Steamboat to pair him with the Brooklyn Brawler, Sarge over Warrior, Flair winning the Rumble was great (Perfect couldn't keep a straight face during most of it, the whole thing was a rib on the locker room) Hulk winning the title at WM9, the Lex Express, playing Davey's music at the 95 Rumble, Diesel over Backlund, Mabel as KoTR 95, Davey losing at One Night Only, Montreal, it just goes on and on. He's the man. Royal Rumble 2014 and 2015 are a pair, 14 was Vince's "Prelude To Disaster" and 15 was "Disaster."
I'll admit I'm still a bit sore that the fans interrupted whatever masterwork he was planning for WM30 with their Yes Movement. I mean he even had the Ultimate Warrior there for the occasion, whatever it was supposed to be, the world will never know now, thanks Daniel & co. Just imagine if he had worked with Andy Kaufman.
