It's too late IMO for me to care if he left. He had chance after chance to leave TNA to try and make it to WWE. I'm not say it's too late for him to join, cause I know guys like Austin wants Joe to go to WWE, but I don't see it happen today. If we got the Samoa Joe from 2005-2006, I would love for him to go to NXT and have phenomenal matches with Finn Balor, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, etc. Now, I could really care less about Samoa Joe, who gained about 50 more pounds (exaggeration on my end) from 2007 to now. I wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't accurate. He's put on a good amount of weight. I'd say he needs to drop 30-40 lbs to get to a respectable level again.

it's a shame he won't get another title run there but he'll probably do what Styles has been doing since he left

Calling it now, Unbreakable 3-way rematch in ROH.

It's hard to believe Joe was one of the most talked about wrestlers less than 10 years ago.
If Punk was still in WWE, I'd be all for a Samoa Joe WWE debut.

I couldn't be more happy for Joe, he deserved better for years. It just boggles my mind how much bad booking can really kill off a wrestler. He could have been one of TNA's franchise players, such a shame. Hopefully he'll be back on his feet soon.

I was at the Lockdown where Joe wrestled Angle for the title and... I think he won the title? It was an unfortunate "MMA" gimmick fight that the crowd did not care for. They finally broke into a pro-wrestling match towards the end, but it was too late.
There was an air about Joe that has long since disappeared. I think once the X-Division disappeared, Joe was just a sort of large dude competing with other, sometimes bigger dudes.

I posted in the WWE board that rumors are Triple H is interested in having Joe, but Vince is not. So if WWE does sign him, he most likely won't go much farther than NXT. But to be honest, I think that may be the best place for him. Joe vs Zayn, Balor, Neville, and Owens are all dream matches.

TNA will never know what they had. Arguably, the most misused talent of the last 10 years.
I'm really hoping for an ROH return. Set up a similar deal that AJ has.

Calling it now, Unbreakable 3-way rematch in ROH. PWG should book it. That match with the Reseda crowd....instant classic.

Probably the most frustrating thing to me about TNA and really the catalyst for a lot of my disdain for them as a promotion is how badly they bungled Joe's push. They pulled the trigger on him not weeks, not months but YEARS too late. He was quite handedly one of the biggest things in the company for years and the fans were sooooo ready to see Joe get the title. After the matches he had with Angle and Christian he was a bonafide main eventer for them but they just dropped the ball on him HUGE. I really wish that he would have left when his contract was up last time because it would have gave him a better shot to be a major player in the WWE because he would have been coming in around the rise to prominence of Punk and Bryan and the signings of Ambrose, Rollins, Zayn and etc. He should be there with that group.

as others said, he really should've left tna a long time ago but the consistent pay cheque was probably hard to refuse.

He's too old for WWE and he wouldn't have made it far there anyway. His best bet is gong to ROH and sticking to the indy's. Are we EVER going to figure out why he was kidnapped five years ago? He's thinking about a swerve
