Has anybody ever played the point-and-click detective/adventure game, Deja Vu? The first game was originally released in 1985 for Macintosh and it was their first game in the line of "MacVenture" releases (for reference, one of the other MacVenture titles is a game which is probably more commonly known & popular, that being the cult favorite Shadowgate... so if you were/are a fan of that game, then you very well might like Deja Vu as well).

It takes place in Chicago, 1941. It's a fun game with a lot of lateral thinking. I haven't played through pt. 2 all the way yet, but I believe it takes place in Vegas, and is the sequel.
There are nice(r) ports, and the best one (I've found) is a GameBoy color port containing both 1 & 2 on the same cartridge. Plays just as well as any other version I have tried, and I can run it through my GB player on my Gamecube if I don't care to use the GameBoy.
Anyway, check out that link if you like old detective/point-and-click adventure games (done right... there have been some horrid examples along the way, '85-onward...) or if you're a Shadowgate fan who has never heard of it. The puzzles and such are supposedly similar, though having not played SG I can't say that I know that from experience (but rather reading it referenced here & there).
This game (Deja Vu 1, specifically) is really underrated... I believe it has multiple endings, too, but I might be wrong on that. I do know there are tons of options in playing through, exploring, puzzle-solving, etc... For a 1985 release which holds elements of some of today's current point-and-click strategies and in some ways, storylines... it really feels ahead of its time. Telltale games being as big as they are, if you enjoy games like that, check out Deja Vu. It is very much point and click, and not so much sequenced action if any at all. But it is still a great precursor to the new p+c genre which seems to be making a comeback.
