Has to be Rock vs Mankind at Rumble '99 or Cena vs Lesnar at Extreme Rules '12.

Edge/Mick Foley Vs. Terry Funk/Tommy Dreamer Jeez that match is SO violent!! Its one of my favourites though, such a great underrated little feud and blow-off match - hell that entire PPV is ing ace! OMG that was an uncomfortable match. I swear there is a moment, I'm not sure if it was a work, but Terry gasps something like, "Mick, my eye, you [cut/hurt/something] my eye!"

I remember Ric Flair and Foley having quite a damn violent match, think it was their "I Quit" match at SummerSlam 2006 - it wasn't the most brutal in terms of 'spots' but knowing that there was genuine hate between the two and the hard-hitting nature of the match it did seem really uncomfortable to watch at times.
Also, I remember only ever thinking blood was being over-used once; it was the last night before it went PG actually, the HBK/Jericho match at The Bash, Michaels was a mess and I just thought it was way too much. Again, not really brutal in terms of what happened, but I felt it was just way too graphic.

Anyone remember Undertaker & Vince's Buried Alive Match from Survivor Series 2003?
Vince had a horrible blade job and looked like he had been stabbed.

While not brutal in terms of violence, it's kind of brutal watching the Montreal screw job match just for what's going on with it. Either one can just "whoops didn't mean to drop you on the concrete" and the genuine dislike does create a stranger atmosphere in the match.

Other than the ones already mentioned, there's Foley & The Rock from Rumble '99. Watching all those unprotected chairshots to Foley's head is kinda hard to watch. Plus, Cena & JBL "I Quit" Match from Judgment Day '05 where Cena's face is a complete mess. was going to post these as well. also adding WrestleMania 13 - Bret vs Austin I Quit Match to the conversation as well. for it's time, it was quite brutal and one of the bloodiest matches in WWF history, and one of the kick off points to the Attitude Era. also, Sgt. Slaughter vs The Iron Sheik in their infamous Boot Cap Match was nasty as hell for first half 80's WWF.

Isn't the rumour behind that match that HBK and Jericho practically begged Vince to let them blade, so Vince allowed them to as long as it wasn't too bad, then HBK bloody gashed himself like a moron and bled all over the show? Practically causing the blood ban. EDIT: www.inquisitr.com/1839899/shawn-michaels-to-blame-for-wwes-blood-ban/
