Cheap way to throw all the undeserving guys on the roster (and 3 or 4 that actually do) in a match. Pointless and the winner is effectively rewarded with nothing. If last year is anything to go by, not even a push. In fact if last year is anything to go by, the winner is cursed.

Yeah, this is probably going to Ryback or Mizdow. Either one is a good choice imo. I think Mizdow eliminates Miz either way.

I can't wait to see who wins and then gets completely derailed while the commentators continue to try to our the battle royal over  Pretty sure they put the tag belts on Cesaro so they can show what a launching pad this years battle royal will be I wish I could agree. I really do. But it seems obvious to me that they put the titles on Cesaro and Kidd so they can put over the Ascension. PTP players defeated them on RAW. I'm not so sure about that. |

They have to give us something to look forward to after The Streak ended. I still think an annual Money in the Bank match, or Elimination Chamber would suit better. With them doing open air stadiums there is not a good way for the Elimination Chamber to hung. The reason we didn't have one this year was for that very reason. We don't need the streak to be something to look forward to at 'Mania. There was plenty to look forward to before the streak and there will be plenty after it. I know the reason why WWE chose not to do the Elimination Chamber, and it downright sucks. The Andre The Giant Battle Royal is pretty cliché. |

Should have been the Randy Savage Memorial Battle Royal with the IC Title on the line. This is a phenomenal idea. I much prefer this. |

"Lazy booking" Battle Royal doesn't excite me this year due to how they mishandled Cesaro last year.

Money in the Bank was a much better lazy booking gimmick than this. I was behind this idea last year, but after how it actually derailed Cesaro's momentum, it's hard to care about it. I have a feeling they'll let Ryback win it.

As previously mentioned, lazy booking 101. Match will be pointless, have no build, and likely do nothing to further the career of the winner.
Slappy's IC Title idea was fantastic. They should have gone with that, especially since everyone in the battle royal would have already beaten BNB at some point during his title run.
At this point, I expect Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Ryback, The Miz, and Damien Mizdow to be the names of note.

I suppose it would be different if their was a prize or reward for winning (other than a trophy which will be broken the next night on Raw).
Basically it's a "Wrestlemania payday" battle royal with no incentive for anybody to win.

It's cool for all those guys who don't have jack crap to do at Mania get some attention, but it's a waste if ya ask me.
Having it for Mania 30 made sense, but I don't get doing it every year.

I always enjoy a battle royal no matter the competitors. While it may or may not lead to anything special for the winner, the match itself is always fun to me because it has an old school feel. The Royal Rumble was always a great match but now that it grants a Wrestlemania main event title shot, it has morphed into something that many people hate because it is too important. I think keeping the Andre Battle Royal as something not connected to any other particular guaranteed push is the way to go.
