Partial Source: Lords of Pain- It was confirmed on tonight's RAW that the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will take place at WrestleMania 31 this year. With several matches to get plenty of time, don't be surprised to see the battle royal take place during the pre-show instead of the main card. Your thoughts?

They have to give us something to look forward to after The Streak ended. I still think an annual Money in the Bank match, or Elimination Chamber would suit better.

I can't wait to see who wins and then gets completely derailed while the commentators continue to try to our the battle royal over  Pretty sure they put the tag belts on Cesaro so they can show what a launching pad this years battle royal will be I wish I could agree. I really do. But it seems obvious to me that they put the titles on Cesaro and Kidd so they can put over the Ascension. |

Given how stacked the card is and the fact they haven't mentioned this until now, I thought it wouldn't be happennig. I'd love for it to be great but fear it will be rushed and horrible.
I really want to be at wrestlemania and see kane win something for once. Give him this!
Clearly as shown last year, this is nowhere near the launching pad MITB or KOTR were.

I'm not looking forward to this because even if someone deserving wins like Cesaro did last year they won't do sh*t afterward so what is the point?
I guess Ryback can win this?
Other people who could have a shot would be Stardust, The Miz or Sandow.
Idk who the top contenders are since it seems that the main mid carders will be in individual matches.
I mean Barrett is seemingly in route to defend the IC Title against Ambrose and Ziggler, Rusev is facing Cena for the US Title, Rollins is probably going to face Orton, and it now seems we could be getting Bryan/Sheamus since Ziggler could be going for the IC Title.
So yeah unless they debut Neville in this battle royal (or bring someone back *Morrison and or Shelton would be epic!) I don't see anyone else who has a legit shot of winning which is pretty damn sad.

With them doing open air stadiums there is not a good way for the Elimination Chamber to hung. The reason we didn't have one this year was for that very reason. We don't need the streak to be something to look forward to at 'Mania. There was plenty to look forward to before the streak and there will be plenty after it. |
