Every year, right after Wrestlemania is over, we all know that WWE uses the time as a platform to debut new or returning talent on the main roster.
There's talk of Sasha Banks making her way to the main roster after Mania, so my question is... who would you LIKE to see come up? And who do you realistically see coming up?
Ideally I'd like 1 of the "NXT 5" to make their way up, though I feel like the likeliest choice of that would be Neville, since Balor and Itami are still fresh, and Owens is the NXT Champ, actively feuding with Zayne.
Also, it's about damn time Enzo and Big Cas make their way up, it's so SAWFT that they haven't yet but the Ascension has!

Balor and likely Charlotte imo if I had to put money down.
I know Sasha is more ready than Charlotte but Charlotte is Ric Flair's daughter and she is an extremely unique athlete compared to the rest of the Divas. Plus, Sasha just won the NXT Title and she's still really young. That's not a straight up talent situation imo.
Balor isn't going to learn anything more in NXT and he's about to be 34. The Mania crowd will know who he is and go nuts for his entrance. He's ready.
Enzo and Cass are being wasted in NXT, flat out. I don't care what they look like in the ring. They are as entertaining in pro wrestling as any act I've ever seen. The tag division needs them and they're already as over as they can get in NXT. Would love to see them at any point.

I thought he was going to debut during the Royal Rumble where he could be really flashy and then we saw no NXT talent in the actual Rumble. That makes me wonder if they are working out a gimmick and it's something we'll see him try out briefly in NXT before debuting. He's obviously as athletic as it gets in the ring, and I think it's pretty easy to just throw him on the roster and watch him go. He's still very hard for me to understand though. I don't foresee him talking a great deal anyway but his mic skill is a factor. If you were to tell me to fantasy book Neville onto the main roster right now, I really wouldn't know where to start. |
