I wonder if the Bearer set actually gets released here, or if Bill was implying an upcoming BP or single release.

I don't think they will ever make a multipack of the same wresler in different attires.
The TRU Rey Mysterio 6-pack says hi!
It sold poorly.

That is how I took that comment. Probably a 2pack with Taker, so similar to what they did with Heyman. That's absolutely fine with me. I prefer that actually. My only concern with the BAF backup, or the concept potentially ending, is Bobby Heenan since he was seemingly next in line. So I'm going to need that figure one way or another.

Can you tell us the sales figures? Quite intrigued how that's gauged. We've asked about that in one of the previous Q&As. We asked about potential Undertaker or HBK 6 packs and Bill said the Mysterio set didn't move that well. We weren't given sales numbers on it or anything. We've seen Walmart and TRU both get Basic 6 packs since that time though but obviously not all of just one character. The concept is essentially really cool for collectors but has virtually no mass appeal imo. I'm not expecting to ever see that type of thing ever again either.

I hope the battle pack is the route they take for Bearer. Also Heenan and Hart would be easy to put out in a pack with any of the people they managed. I don't think Bill will let a green light to produce those two slip away, even if the TRU BaF line is dead.

i have faith that Bill knows the importance of heenan and hart. BAF was a flop so he is adjusting the program and has just done something last week to get bearer shipped to us. He will do what he needs to do. In Bill I trust on this matter

The Elite BAF probaly sell better than the Basic BAFs. That's the story for me actually, purchased every elite BAF but I never bought any basic BAFs.

I've bought all the BaF sets so far because I wanted those characters. I didn't always like all the figs in the set but usually at least 2 were good. Corporate Kane was the first set I didn't really feel a need to complete. I was going to hate buying all those basics for Bearer as well but maybe I won't have to now...

A Mr. Perfect and Brain set could work, but who could be paired with Jimmy Hart since Honky Tonk Man won't get another figure?

I thought of him, but only if we could get a heel Hart, not Hogan's little buddy manager.

If mattel would do away with basics there'd be no budget issuse.Everyone obviously drools over elite style and I know they're the premium top seller for the wwe figure line of mattel, so why not just have all elites sold in glass cases(like the electronic and video game isle) to prevent theft of elite accessories. Hell, have a top of the line toys sold in theft proof cases for that matter.... And have the legends sold online only for collectors.
