was it shipped with insurance (or by priority mail at all, which comes with $500 built in insurance)? damaged collectibles that can't just be replaced like these would be a perfectly valid reason for some or all of the value to be reimbursed to you by USPS.

You have some awesome stuff there, but that postman is a douchebag. Should of taken more care with your stuff.

I'm going by there tomorrow after I get off of work, these weren't cheap by any means ! What really sucks about the whole thing, is that the Ebay Seller packaged them very nicely too, so it's 100% all on the USPS, but there's really no way I can prove that

Yeah sometimes it cant be avoided but when I used to ship crystal or porcelain I would do a box in box and put a buffer of peanuts in between and not even usps could break my stuff as it was like floating in air .
When I have photos coming I also have the sender write door deliver only ! and I also leave a note in the mail box and sure its alot of work but its better than having to go to the PO and deal with morons for 6 months to get your claim for their neglect .

Yea, I mean Hollywood Blonds aren't THAT bad, but you can still tell where it was damp/wet and then dried, because the cardboard paint has faded and is brittle.
The SIGNED RSC Exclusive, however, was crushed AND had the most water on it, so it isn't salvageable at all. The autograph is legit, as it came with a COA, but this isn't the sellers fault.
What should I do, if the USPS refuses to acknowledge that they're responsible ?

First go to your PO fast and open a claim fast time is of the essence and also call their 1800 number and document everything , hit um both ways and dont delay ! Also dont let them say they cant control the weather or have them try to lay blame on you , say if it was bad weather why didnt they just try to re deliver it ? why leave a package out in the rain , make them accountable . If you get a mouth breather or a lame ass ask to speak to someone higher up or you will be spinning your wheels

Sorry to see this. My postman sucks balls too. He is super lazy. I love it when he has the day off because the replacement postman is awesome.

Yea, it really is frustrating when buying online, because you not only have to worry about how much care the seller takes in packaging your item(s), but now it's almost a two way street with the way that some of these mail carriers treat parcels nowadays :/

I am so glad that I am a loose collector and for the most part, don't have to worry about this. But, I still would like my mailman to get my packages to me in a timely manner. Seems like my mail doesn't arrive until way after 4pm everyday when the replacement mail carry gets it here by 11am.

USPS has a lot of good going for them, they really do, so when I say this, I'm at least acknowledging that they do have their merits....
BUT DAMN!! THE POST OFFICE IS SO STUPID SOMETIMES!!!
