Austin vs Hogan and Cena vs Hogan seem to be the biggest 2 of the "never happened" variety. Austin vs Cena, Sting vs Taker, Austin vs Brock, Austin vs Punk, Rock vs HBK etc are certainly up there too. But i think Sting vs Taker is probably the only one of any of those with ANY kind of chance that we will see it. Shame we couldnt have got Rock Michaels though. Simply because its something where both participants are ,most likely, still able to give 100% in that one match. I always thought an RKO vs Rock match was a given, playing off the whole third generation superstar common thread between them. Id also like to see a program with Rock and Batista. Theyve had very little interaction in the past, so its fresh, plus you add in the Hollywood aspect they have now.......instant storyline.

There are only a few true "dream" matches that I think could happen today, given the age of some of the select few "legends" that would have to come back to make them come true.
Austin/Punk
HBK/Bryan
Austin/Cena
Sting/Taker (probably both too old now to make it work)
Austin/Lesnar
For some, Goldberg would be in the mix as well, but he doesn't do much for me.

Seriously, if WWE had just signed Angle at the end if last year, they could have avoided this whole fiasco. Fans would be happy with getting a 30 minute dream match between these two even if it meant Bryan not being in the title match.
