So, as the title would suggest, do any of you fine people make YouTube videos? I've been doing it for a couple of months now (I make gaming vids, hence why I posted it here) and I really enjoy it. However, as with everything, it's difficult to grow at the beginning. So thought why not advertise on here Here are some of my series I have at the moment: Only posted the first episodes so if you do want to watch them you won't be spoiled for later on! I feel I have improved from episodes 1 to now! I've finished the Pokémon Red playthrough and have 13 episodes of Skyblock up! If you guys could drop a sub it'd be much appreciated, and if you have channels I will happily do the same! Currently on 12 subs and the aim is to try and get to 25 if possible by the end of March/start of April! Link to my channel: www.youtube.com/channel/UC0hkR9iaBYENspX1NpbfjeA/feedTakes 5 seconds to sub if you wanna, and I'd be really grateful! Cheers guys!

I have one of my own and it's down in my sig. I have a fair amount of LPs on there and I definitely feel your pain with growing a channel. It's an over saturated marke. Hey, I'll give you a sub though. I also do a couple of other things like some reflections on WWE games and a bunch of guitar covers as well.
These have probably been my favorite series to do thus far:
And I've also been interested in getting a small group of three or four people together for a commentary channel which could always be fun. I guess if I'm not gonna put up my own thread for it yet I might as well see if anyone wants to do that here. I'm certainly open to other collaborations as well.

I like the idea of the commentary channel, seems like a nice way to reach more people! If something gets going give me a shout and I'll try to help out!

I don't 'Youtube' per say but generally upload videos every so often. Back when I was learning the drums i would post pretty often but the majority of them were average at best, then I had to give that up. Got a few random videos and I occasionally upload some of my Xbox One Game DVR clips that I like, got a few that I might upload but here's one from Halo MCC

I tried out the whole gaming/commentary thing a few years back, but it wasn't for me. Dropped you a sub, checked out a few of your videos. Good stuff!

Nice! I can appreciate the effort it takes to make decent animations! I used to do them when I was younger and it was pretty hard (and mines weren't nearly as smooth as yours)

Mine are definitely not anywhere near incredible, though. Need to get back into it, been slacking off recently. Also, I'm not a big video game fan, but I do like interesting and entertaining commentary. You're doing well bud, keep it up.

I have 2 YouTube channels. My primary one used to be used for my caw fed, WGE that I started in 2010 (a caw fed being an entirely predetermined show recorded by myself on WWE 2K14, using 2 controllers and edited together to result in a realistic pro wrestling show, along with commentary. If anybody here has heard of WEDF (and if not, you should definitely search for it), that was and still is a big inspiration for me. Anyway, I closed it down in late 2013, however I recently made the decision to reopen it, better than ever before. At the moment I'm uploading WGE on a new, secondary channel. WGE's return is set for June, and I will be uploading past episodes of WGE on a weekly basis up until WGE's return. If anyone is interested, here's the link: www.youtube.com/channel/UCIKSX5ZwwdCzhrszn27cUcgAs for my primary channel, I upload my own Doctor Who trailers: www.youtube.com/user/Wrestlingfan414

Going to post this here too as I didn't see this when making a YouTube thread in the Lounge section.
Here is my first video I've done for the "relaunch" of my channel, just something that happened to be whilst playing GTA Online.
Planning on doing more videos soon, not all gameplay, but the main focus on the channel will be that.
EDIT: Subscribed to you Ben.

I've been wanting to get into it. Got a channel, Nitro Gaming. Want to focus on WWE videos, at the minute straight up gameplay so people can just watch some cool matches but I might end up doing commentaries. Would appreciate any subs, just got into it! www.youtube.com/channel/UC3imYNWcB7NjD_duiTuYy0gWill subscribe to everyone in this thread, nice work people!

I have a twitch that I am working into starting. Don't have the time at the moment. BUT, I help my friend out as much as I can with her own channel. She streams once a wk, and I'm hoping to talk her into doing stuff on Youtube. For now, she does Twitch and it records prior broadcasts until the next one (she does tuesday nights).
This Tuesday she is having a special Xmas-themed "Woolly World Christmas" stream and decking out in some Yoshi gear, giving away (I'm pretty sure) 1 of each color, and we're gonna do some other fun stuff I'm sure. So if you want to see a cute girl drink egg nog, play Woolly World, possibly cuss like a sailor, and have a chance at some prizes, hit me up via PM and I can send you a direct link to the channel. We've had themed streams now and then, doing Super Mario Maker once. So I'm hoping this one is as fun as that one was. In the future there may be a Toad Treasure Tracker. Def. a Msjora's Mask one down the line. And then occasionally we'll do multiplayer.
If interested, I ask you bear in mind that my friend is a) an adult and b) someone I ask you treat with respect. PM me and I can link you. Tuesday night will be a big one. Come for the fun, stay for the giveaways! ;p

About 4 years ago, I joined some forum called PlayStation World. The forum was all about game reviews, trophy guides, and cheats. I was in charge of writing weekly game reviews for about the two years it existed. Soon after I became a reviewer, the owner of the forum asked me and a couple of the other guys to help him start up a YouTube channel for trophy guides, cheats, etc. The channel was called 1PlaystationWorld (since the name PlayStation World was already taken). You can find the actual channel here. And here's some of the videos that got us some popularity. Those are our two most popular videos, both gaining over 250,000 views. The work for the channel was split up evenly. The owner did the bulk of the trophy guides (since he was a legitimate demigod at achieving the impossible), some guys set up game nights, some guys edited the videos, and I did some trophy guides when the owner was away. In fact, the Uncharted video above (the most popular on the channel) was actually played by me after the owner got sick and was bed ridden for about a week. At our peak, we had about 10,000 subscribers, which was due to our social outreach through Facebook, Twitter, and even an IGN article that featured our video (the Metal Gear Solid one). After a hiatus and lackluster return, the channel died along with the forum back in 2013 for reasons that are still unknown to me and many of the guys who contributed. The owner severed his ties from everyone on PSN, Steam, and any other social media out there. It sucks, but sh*t happens. I'm looking to get back into making YouTube videos again since a friend of mine acquired all of the necessary equipment. It really is a fun experience to share your gameplay with other players around the world. Of course it takes a lot of time to complete, but once it's done, the reception is worth it.
