Eventually there will be a new bunch of guys around HHH & Stephanie. I think the New Authority should be Rollins (until he turns babyface), Sheamus, Baron Corbin and the Ascension as the team/muscle replacing Show/Kane.
Who would you put in?

I don't think I'd go Sheamus and Corbin. Corbin still has a ton of work to do in NXT before he's ready. I agree with Sheamus and Rollins, but not really sure who I'd go with as their tag team. I hate the Ascension, so I definitely wouldn't put them in there though.
Edit: Come to think of it, I think I'd put in Cesaro too. He does well when he's part of a faction and tends to show much needed personality when in one. As for the last member, I have no idea.

BNB looks like a joke so I'd guess he'd fit right in.
I would definitely add Sheamus. It can give him that flare he needs.

I would maybe try to do a double turn with Reigns and Rollins. Reigns is pretty much dead in the water right now both character and fan reaction wise. If they're gonna put the title on him, then turn him heel, and put him in the authority. Have him wear expensive custom made clothes, and ride limos (kinda like Rock circa 1999, or Flair in the 80's), and just be a total arrogant ass. People already generally don't seem to like him anyway, so you may as well take that and run with it. Make him HHH's new golden boy, since thats the perception the IWC already seems to have of him. Would obviously have to find a way to turn Rollins face though, which I think could be hard... not because I don't think he can get over, but because he's already done such a good job as a heel, it would hard to go back on that...

At least this way, we can get some new guys a fresh start. I know there isn't anything new left to be done, but do we really need an on-screen authority figure? Or what about a face authority figure? I don't recall seeing that but I'm sure it's been done before. I'm sure it's been done far less than a heel faction in power. It what about a Jack Tunney-like figurehead? One that's rarely used. They don't need to do the same thing over and over. Give it some time so it seems fresh. |

How about they scrap the whole authority storyline altogether. The whole authority stable is just a joke now consisting of 2 semi-retired wrestlers turned security guards, 2 guys who guys who need to retire, and Seth Rollins, which is the only one who makes sense. We've had a year and half of this and it's stale. I'm sick of seeing Stephanie on my tv (I know some of you don't but that's a different story). Triple-H's non-wrestling role is soooo boring and takes up 15-20 minutes of air time each week on Raw with some boring ass promo. How about we have a general manager who actually will have some longevity for a change. Hogan? Heyman? Edge? Foley? Flair? Somebody!!!! I've just had enough with this authority stuff

Bring back Foley as the Commissioner, he had some great moments back then and he could easily eat up the "Comedy" portion of the show. You could even give Foley someone to act as his muscle if heels try to get him into matches.

I heard the idea of after Seth cashes in, he says he didn't need the Authority's help to do it and such, and Triple H bringing up Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, and Hideo Itami as like a new Kliq basically.
Personally, I really like the idea.
If they're going to continue the Authority stable, they need to drop Big Show and Kane. Big Show needs to retire already, nothing he does is any good or entertaining. He's not funny and nobody likes him.

Yeah, and I think he needs to get a less strong accent if he's going to be on the main roster in a top heel stable. I know it probably sounds stupid, but he's going to need to talk and he'd need to sound more fluent. I'd say Zayn, but I don't think he'll ever truly play a heel. I do really like the idea of Wade Barrett being in the Authority, I thought he was going to be when he was trying to shave Bryan's beard for Vince, but it wasn't so. If I'm being honest, if I picked a tag team for them, I'd pick Blake and Murphy. |

If it must continue I like your choice the most because it has a main eventer, a tag team, a diva, and an upper mid carder. It would be pretty sweet if they were all champions at the same time. Sheamus works for sure. I don't know if adding Corbin would work exactly cause, being part of the Authority would mean he's gonna have to job a lot to the top babyfaces. They could bring him on as their monster, and keep him really strong, but I don't think he's physically quite intimidating enough to pull it off.
