What type of kid were/are you in High School

Ok so think about that. How many people have you met in your life so far? Out of all those people there are only 2 you call good friends? Friends are few and far inbetween.

My status in high school was really strange. I was really quiet and kind of acted like a loner. I usually hung out with the outcast kind of group. Yet I was friends just about everyone in my class. Jocks loved me, nerds loved me, popular kids loved me.

I was quiet and kept to myself but I was friendly to everyone that approached me and I was always laid back.

Not really sure. I was kinda cool but nothing more than that. Always bullied for my love for wrestling, always stabbed in the back by "friends". To the person who said they never had good friends, I see what they say. I was often left out of things, spent most of my time alone. Between the struggle of keeping good grades and the social life it was a miserable time. Without wrestling and friends outside of school I was just always sad

I'm sort of the nerd that's pretty friendly with everyone. I talk to my nerdy friends a lot more though. I don't hide my love for wrestling or punk rock. Hell, I even have a red ribbon with sXe and straight edge on my binder. They usually make the "you spelled sex wrong" joke, but I don't really mind. I'm in the 10th grade, by the way. I also don't hide my goal of eventually becoming a professional wrestler with my friends.

High school was weird because I was all over the place. Hung out with the bad asses/bullies most of the time. Played two years of Varsity basketball so also spent a lot of time with the jocks. However, academically I was way ahead of both of my social circles and took quite a few honors classes where I was cool with a lot of the so called 'nerds' and outsiders. I honestly felt more comfortable around them since they were actually interested in my secret hobbies of comics and wrestling. Was also 'in' with the upper classes since my older brother had already been going there and pretty much introduced me to everyone my 1st week freshman year. Was also 'that guy that knocked up his high school sweet heart' my senior year (we hooked up my freshman her sophomore year, she was already graduated when she became pregnant).

I was quiet, shy and kept to myself. Most other kids seriously thought I could not talk. I got picked on sometimes but mostly nobody noticed me. I liked to just blend into the background and be left alone.

Oddly enough I've never been bullied or made fun of or whatever for being "The Wrestling Guy" in my year group. Normally I'm the person who everyone seeks out if they are trying to remember who Undertaker fought in a buried alive match or whatever. I never really openly told that many people about how I love wrestling, most found out by seeing that I follow about 200 wrestlers on Twitter or I'm checking out a PWG preview video in registration but they're all cool with it and ask me what I thought about WrestleMania or whatever PPV has just taken place.

In terms of friends, I'm sort of an all around guy. My best friends are mostly gamer nerds, but I'm cool with the popular guys and girls because they were my friends in Primary (Elementary) school. I play a lot of basketball so I tend to get on pretty well with the jocks etc. The only people I don't get on well with are the band/choir people because the majority of them are pretentious idiots and look down on the rest of the school because they can play the triangle or whatever.

I was one of those cool a-holes that you either loved or hated. I was more of the latter than the former. I didn't really care at all. My high school was a ten floor "prison" with metal detectors. The one thing I loved about high school was I had Times Square, Grand Central Terminal, Penn Station/Madison Square Garden all within walking distance. The pros outweighed the cons for me. Most of the people I graduated with became a full of ****. So, the joke is on them.

I'd say I am pretty well known, but not in the egotistical "everybody look at me" way. The way I speak is borderline posh (No, I don't have the strange, nasal-y accet of posh people. I'm not even posh, it's just how I speak.) so sometimes people will comment on that. I have 2 very close friends, but I get along with a lot of others. My love for wrestling is known throughout the school, so I will occasionally get the odd insult or two but nothing major. (Sidenote: I sometimes judge people on their knowledge of wrestling, so if somebody walks past me and patronisingly shouts "Randy Orton coming off the top rope", I will think to myself, "He doesn't go to the top rope much")

History nut, so I can be quite boring at times. Often hanging around with the "emo" group (Who I am constantly defending as not being emo's. Because they aren't) But I would like to get away from them, as I have pretty much drained any conversation possibilities. Most people just call me "odd", and a nerd at times, because I am the only one in my class who completes homework, on time and consistently. I hate most sports, and would much rather draw something than go and loiter around in the street.

So basically, I'm insecure and weird. Woo.
