Regal's head for Buddy Rogers looks great! I never would have thought of that choice. It is only a small detail, but I really like the style of red knee pad you chose for Hogan. It ties the figure together nicely. Yokozuna, Magnum TA, and Slick look great, too. Slick's hat is key for that figure.

Hope all is well with you, Smash! Ahh, yes - old school RA customs are so rare to see these days. Good job on all of those (I'm really digging the Magnum head mold), and I'm glad that my version of Leroy Brown helped "inspire" you to make one as well. All of them are very well done!
I've not lifted a brush for probably a couple of years now, but I've got so many ideas still in my head and I've still got boxes and boxes of RA parts. I just have a total lack of motivation due to a combination of exhaustion from working two jobs, and just plain laziness. Perhaps I'll try and use this thread as motivation to get me back into the groove a little bit. Well done, my friend.

May I ask is that a Jakks Kamala head on Leroy Brown? Always wondered what it'd look like with no facepaint, actually looks more like Jim Harris than I expected.

Also regarding the Yokozuna, did you do anything to help the Mattel skintone match the Jakks skintone? I always thought of using the Mattel head on the Jakks body but the skintones didn't seem to match so I didn't bother

Thanks man. to answer your questions, yes that's a Kamala head and the yoko was just a strait swap head wise...i did some work on the hands ( shortening the length of the wrists and removing the molded on wist bands ) but the head is just a simple swap

Thanks for the info, so how does the skintone difference look in person with the Yoko head? Is it very noticeable?

OK cheers. I did pick up the Mattel Yoko a couple of months back but hadn't got around to switching the head yet (as like you I prefer RA bodies). I might wait for the HOF Yoko now though, the new scan looks awesome.

i just did a google search and your right it does. just glad folks enjoy what i have done. The ljn arena was inspired by Wars and his crowed pics among others were really helpful. me using the crowed from the ljn package was my way of putting my own spin on his amazing work.

Thanks for the compliments on the side pices of the hogan belt also..im sure someone can probably do a cleaner job then i did but for me id say not half bad using a fine tipped tooth pick and holding the belt right under my nose lol.
