I hate to disagree, but "wasting their time" is a huge exaggeration. Were Mr. Perfect, Owen Hart and British Bulldog, etc. "wasting their time" in the mid-card? Let's be honest, the mid-card is nothing more than the "we have nothing for you division." It would be a different story entirely if these titles meant a damn the way they did when the names you mentioned were competing for them, but that's simply not the case anymore. For a guy like Daniel Bryan, who could, at worst, be named 1b in terms of overness, being saddled with a multi man match at Wrestlemania that, in the grand scheme of things, very clearly means nothing and was thrown together, is to me, a total waste of time. Agreed. But who's 1a? |
