This may be a stupid question, but if you have a shaved head, and I mean by that one that is buzzed down to the skin, how do you wash your head?
I've never completely shaved my head before. Right now it is about 1/4 of an inch on top and faded up on the sides and back, but no skin showing.
I wonder because I know that bar soap is not good for your face as it traps oils under a film. Wouldn't this be the same issue for your scalp which produces oils for your hair?
I want to just buzz it all off as I have this horrible widow's peak and also because I like how low maintenance it is. I also am very hot natured and since it has already reached 70 in NC, I'm cooking alive.
So what do you guys do?

A little bit of shampoo is what I used to do.

I'm going to be 22 and I either have to let my hair grow out, or if I cut it I have to buzz it to the skin in order to not show off my Hulk Hogan with a tiny Mohawk widows peak.
The best thing to use is, honestly, a small little dab of an anti-dandruff shampoo like Head and Shoulders or Pantene which is my weapon of choice. Another choice is a clarifying shampoo like Paul Studio or whatever it's called that drys any oil out if you plan on keeping it buzzed long term or if you don't have a dandruff problem. It prevents sores, keeps it clean etcetera.
Shampoo is still better for your head than soap, no matter what kind, as I'm not sold on the hair/body wash mix. Really up to you though.

I shaved my head #1 all over a few years back and shampoo works fine.
I've been letting my hair grow out over the past couple years and I've never had long hair before but I kinda like it. Looks good tied back.

A little bit of shampoo is what I used to do. Been shaving my head for years now. Just use shampoo as normal. Just less of it.

Ditto on the shampoo. It'll feel oily if I don't use anything

I work at a radio station and all of us DJs use the same pair of headphones, it's gross. So on work days I work I will use soap to really clean my ears, face and head and then shampoo. On days off I will just shampoo my head.
