"Here's the dude you've seen in three other movies standing there with a gun. Just in case you forgot what he looked like..."

All joking aside, I couldn't stand 007 prior to him taking over. Casino Royale, and Skyfall are fantastic. I have high hopes for Spectre.

The running theme with Craig's Bond is gruff simplicity, which is how Bond was in the books. I love it. That's all it really takes. Super pumped. Waltz in a Bond film is going to be sensational.

I'll give this one a chance, but my goodness, Skyfall was a mess. So far Craig is 1/3 on Bond movies for me... only one of his that I've liked so far was Casino Royale.

Villain's plan is both (A) overly complicated relying on tremendous, impossible coincidences, and (B) a total ripoff from the first Mission: Impossible. (start at 2:30 if the video doesn't start there automatically) I'm totally over the whole "villain intentionally gets himself captured through an impossibly-convoluted scheme that ultimately takes way more work and accomplishes almost nothing" cliche that writers are aping off of The Dark Knight. I mean seriously, TDK's Joker gives Silva's plan four dismissive wank motions out of five.

The casting for this movie is absolutely amazing. I would be shocked if there aren't several characters stealing the show.

There's an Archer joke to be made here.

There's an Archer joke to be made here. My first reaction was really "Hey that looks like a poster for an Archer movie!"

Huge bond fan. I love the homage to Moore from live and let die.
And skyfall is overrated as hell. M

Ah, he's wearing the Archer-inspired tactical turtle neck aka the "tactleneck."
I hope this movie is good; I enjoyed the other 3 movies a lot.

My joint favourite Bond movies are Goldeneye & Casino Royale...both directed by Martin Campbell. I enjoyed QOS and Skyfall but feel Skyfall is cripplingly overrated.
Fiona & Myself watched all 3 back to back last Christmas and we both agreed Casino Royale is the best of the 3 by a large margin.
I of course am looking forward to Spectre and hope it is closer in quality to Casino Royale than Skyfall.
