So in the past WWE have given new superstars title wins in their debut matches, US Title, IC Title, Divas Title, Womens Title, Tag Titles, but do you think WWE would actually do that with the WWE World Heavyweight Title?
I think it'd be really interesting, I think if they make Owens seem like a Brock Lesnar unstoppable force, they could easily give him the title on his first night, rather than 2 months on.

I feel like WWE could have done it with Alberto Del Rio on his debut if Rey Mysterio were the World Heavyweight Champion at the time.

They kind of did.
Didnt Hulk Hogan win the title on his first night back in the wwf after his run in AWA? It was his debut as a good guy.

if they did it with anyone in the next 5 years it should be Kevin Owens. have Bryan get the WWE title back and Owens comes out of nowhere to challenge him and win then they feud for a few months having 5 star matches and making some of the most memorable TV we've ever seen.
but the WWE will never ever do that in a million years

I think anyone winning the world title on debut is dumb. Huge Owens fan but say he wins the title…….then what? I honestly feel what keeps us interested in wrestlers whether heel or face is the chase to become the main champion. That's why we all love Ziggler, Ambrose and guys like Barrett, Rollins because honestly the chase to the title is the only story WWE creative would have a hard time F-ing up these days.
Everybody was a fan of Reigns until last summer time when the Shield broke up, because everyone knew once that happened we would be in the situation we are now.

No, but I believe he won the WCW title from Ric Flair on his first night there. Even as a child and a lifelong Hulkamaniac, I knew that was bullcrap. Just noticed that Nivro™ beat me to it. Oh well.

Only possible way is if they can get a dominate NXT champion to "trade in" his NXT championship for a shot at the WWE title.

It would be possible, but it would have to be someone that could be seen as credible and have a decent amount of recognition already.
AJ Styles Goldberg (I know it would be a re-debut but it would be about the same thing.) Sting could have worked.
Those are the only current names I could think of that would work.
What I would love to see is an old timer come back and challenge. Kind of young and powerful vs an older yes, but been around the block a few times and knows some tricks. The more Orton and Cena get up there in cheap title reigns, the more I want Flair to come back and school someone.

I think without WCW (or proper competition) it's impossible. NXT could work but that kind of undermines the main roster and it's less of a call up if the two main champions are on a level platform.
I suppose a wrestler from Mexico or Japan could come in and win it but it would be a huge risk of the crowd not really knowing who he is.

If the WWE creative were smart at all they would put the title on a short chubby dude that wears a full body girdle under his hobo-ish ring gear, upon his debut on the main roster.

Didn't Big Show (The Giant at the time) win the world title in his in ring debut in WCW? He sure did, and in the most impressive manner possible, dude came back to life after falling off the roof of the Cobo Arena earlier in the show.
