Ive got skate 3 and I think is great.
Just wondering is any of the tony hawks games on ps3 any better??

Nah, the TH games have been pretty bad since Underground, a gen prior to PS3. American Wasteland was arcadey fun, spinning on top of a skyscraper, ripping down T-Rex statues, tearing apart an old casino and racing a bum down a ramp in a shopping cart with Bam Margera...fun, but not real "skating" like Skate as a series provided. Project 8, Downhill...all crap. Stick with Skate unless you can get your hands on a PS3 version of American Wasteland.

Skate 3 is the best skating game ever made in my opinion.
Tony Hawk HD on PS3 is a remake of some old school levels and is really fun, but it's an arcade game basically. Goofy stuff. Skate is where it's at.

Tony Hawk used to be the bomb. American Wasteland is one of my favourite games of all time, that sound track too, insane. The Underground games were sick too, loved the story on them.
But TH series faded and Skate 3 is a great game, lots of stuff to do on there. And is a game I go back to like once every two months because there's always fun to be had.
Looking forward to the new TH though, interested in what they do with it.

THPS2 for PS1 is the perfect skateboarding game I think I was addicted to that game. I owned three different versions: PS1, Dreamcast, then X-box had THPS2X. I enjoyed the Skate series a lot, too. Haven't played in a long time, though. |

Underground through American Wasteland is a GREAT three game span.
Underground 1 was my favorite TH game and i played through the story mode at least 25 times, UG 2 wasn't as good of a story but it was still a GREAT game.
American Wasteland was not any worse then either Underground game but it lacked in the story mode compared to the two previous games.
But we're talking PS3 and with the PS3 Skate is the way to go.....any of them, they are THAT good.
If this was a PS2 discussion i would go TH all the way.
