I wish he'd rock real attire. Honestly, he should have dropped all the Shield stuff, unless they were to make a point of him saying, "i am the shield" or if they pushed that he were the creator... Or something. After being betrayed by the architect, he should feel burned by it.

Like I said in the OP, I'm good with the entrance and the the theme song. But if they changed everything I wouldn't mind it, but only if it was done right. I'm with marino13(I think) and hoping for a heel turn and alliance with Paul Heyman at Wrestlemania. That would be the perfect opportunity to change things up.

This thread is cancerous. Roman Reigns wears the attire, does the entrance and acts like he does because WWE tells him to. Not because he has outrageously large titties he's trying to hide, not because he has no personality, but because it looks cool and is marketable. This in' board...

Having all that padding seems like an unfair advantage. It's like when my friend started wearing a life jacket during our backyard wrestling matches so he wouldn't get hurt as much. Was it against this guy?

I've had multiple grandparents and other family members die due to cancer. I don't find it insulting or too far in the slightest. Yeah I think that was too far. This is a simple thread with a simple question to be discussed. I'm actually a Roman Reigns fan, so no bad intentions behind this.

1) Well I think he is bigger than Seth specially in the torso. I think Seth Rollins is more "fit" but Roman is "larger". 2) I don't think some attire gets/keeps someone over... I think if Roman ditched the vest and all, he would have the same popularity or be even bigger specially with women(if that's possible). 1) He is larger than Seth. But not by much. He doesn't look like the "powerhouse" they bill him to be. He's still a fair amount smaller than say, Cena, Batista or Brock. He's closer to Orton, who isn't a powerhouse. 2) The attire/gear didn't keep him over. It's the fact that he looks pretty much exactly the same as he did when he was in the Shield. He also acts the same (except for the cheesy promos which he seems to have stopped). Like Seth has become the dastardly heel and Ambrose's lunatic personality is awesome. Reigns is just a guy in riot gear who wears it because the Shield was cool and they want to keep that for him. Well he is not even the "powerhouse" they bill him to be ! He barely does any real powerhouse moves and if he does some he only does them in matches with Daniel Bryan or Seth Rollins who carry him trough the match.

I know Roman is doing ot because the WWE tells him to. My simple suggestion was that they have him doing so because he doesn't have the powerhouse build they make him out to be. Not anything bad, just something that is a fact. Also, he has yet to show any real personality like Ambrose or Rollins has so it seems like the WWE wants to keep the Shield thing for it because it was cool. This ing board...

"Not anything bad" yet worth hiding for WWE?... I have no clue how you can say you don't absolutely hate Roman Reigns given how much you take objection to everything he does, is involved with or is associated with. Roman Reigns has shown much more personality over the past few weeks and is showing a whole lot more upside compared to before the Rumble.

Roman Reigns has shown much more personality over the past few weeks and is showing a whole lot more upside compared to before the Rumble. I don't take objection to everything Roman Reigns does. Let's even just about post Shield split shall we? I was cool with him having the singles match against Randy Orton at SummerSlam. The match didn't deliver to me but still. His return at TLC was cool to see live. I gave him tons of props for the Fast Lane match with Daniel Bryan instead of the constant "Daniel Bryan carried him" comments. The guy has potential to be a massive star, I just don't think he should be the guy right now. That being said, I've, from a fair point of view, shared my dislikes. The promos that WWE give him to work with can be lame and you can tell that he's memorizing, which comes off bad. I don't think he's shown much more personality over the past few weeks but he has shown more upside since the Rumble. See that? I can reasonably agree with you. My biggest gripe is the constant "this board" or "classic WF" statements. We get it. A lot of people on WF don't like Roman Reigns and are irrational about him. A lot of people are irrational going the other way to. No need to constantly bring it up. When I say nothing bad, it's because I don't think, as you so eloquently put it, that "Roman outrageously large titties". I've said, in this very thread, when I was having a logical conversation with AJ F'n Brooks, that he is in great shape. However, the WWE incorrectly bills him as the "powerhouse" and the "juggernaut" when he honestly doesn't have the body type of one of those guys. Ryback or Sheamus, for example, fit that bill better. It's again, the WWE's fault for billing him as such. I'm not taking that out on Roman Reigns. I was just stating facts.

WWE has fumbled his booking and some character stuff. In terms of look, I didn't hear people bitching on AFR about Steve Austin's attire. It became synonymous with the persona. John Cena has became synonymous by wearing jorts. Roman Reigns's look is now synonymous with the way he is being presented. Why fix something when it wasn't broken to begin with. The industry repeats itself by having marketable names who have a distinct look to them. Some more examples are Hulk Hogan with the red & yellow, Ric Flair with the robe, and the The Rock with his Brahma Bull. If people can't get that through their minds, I can't help you with that.

A lot of people feel that it's because it keeps Roman as the "cool guy". Also, I thought Steve Austin's attire was cool and I don't know what AFR means.

This place exists because of AFR's sudden closure in late-2001. As far as Roman Reigns is concerned, I like his look. His look stands out from the rest. I don't get the insane amounts of hate towards Reigns. We all know that he isn't "ready." Most of the top stars of yesteryear weren't ever ready to be in that top spot. You either sink or swim. Reigns isn't in the water yet. People should listen to what Triple H mentioned about guys being "ready" for that top position on Steve Austin's podcast. Unlike many, I have warmed up to Reigns. I want him to succeed. We need more depth in the main event pool.

AFR was bomb. Good days.
As far as Reigns gear, I think he just needs separation from his past gimmick. That would be like the Rock leaving the NOD and still walking out to their entrance music, raising his fist in the air and keeping the tribal designs on his tights rather than branding the Brahma bull. He has his own (Hardyz/Spider-man rip off) logo, but it's not present enough. He needs gear that sets him apart. He needs to not still be wearing a flak jacket because he's not out of shape like D'lo or Bossman. Hell, let him wear a vest to the ring (like Austin did) but remove it for matches. Wouldn't that free up his ability to be more agile in the ring? Allow him to attempt some suplexes? Turn on more of the ladies (and dudes)?
He's living in the past. He's the acolytes before they became the APA. I don't care if he wears 'improper' ring attire, I just want him to step away from what he was introduced as, the Shield heavy. Yes, we get it's WWE's decision. Doesn't mean it's a good one.
