I'll be damned if I would spend 15 bucks to hear a one sided story. A round table with all the parties involved? Now we'd be talking. That's how I felt about the Monday Night Wars DVD. And after a friend of mine bought it, I was proven right.

I liked Del Rio, but I often felt like nobody else did. Fans just didn't care & Ricardo was more over than him. WWE fires him and now he's beloved. It'd odd. I'll be damned if I would spend 15 bucks to hear a one sided story. A round table with all the parties involved? Now we'd be talking. Wasn't watching much when he was around, but he seemed really good to me from what I gather now. Looked like he came in with a big impact then they took the car and Ricardo away and much of his personality like many other guys. Always seemed solid in the ring. I guess I understand you need to heat up and cool down guys at different times, can't really have everyone red hot at once going for the top spot, but damn they wrecked a lot of guys. Part of why I stuck around and kept watching after WM30 is they clearly have spectacular talent, the production/presentation/booking/whatever, of that talent makes me scratch my head a bit. But you're right he was no where before he left, fans didn't seem to care, matches were pretty dead. Is that really how you cool guys down, stripping them of assets? Did Macho lose his stars because he went heel?? Will someone please explain 'The Mystery of Macho Man and the Missing Stars' to us?? I'm not over invested in my childhood wrestling memories, I'm fine, those stars were just really really important. I think they took the car from Del Rio when he turned face. Because I assume they thought it would make him more identifiable with common fans. I believe they took Ricardo because Ricardo was getting cheered and Del Rio wasn't. So they tried to turn Del Rio heel again while letting Ricardo stay face. It wasn't the best idea ever, but I can understand the thought process. As for Macho's stars? I have no unearthly idea. But I always missed them.

Well yeah, file sharing is illegal and WF doesn't support it either. Best bet would be to delete the post.

Alberto choosing to kill Rosa Mendes in FMK was glorious.

No just really bad timing with Zigglers briefcase on limited time honestly. They should have had Swagger win at Mania cheaply, Ziggler cashes in immediately after at Mania and wins the strap. Ziggler gets his belt, Swagger doesn't walk out of Mania as Champion and doesn't beat Del Rio clean, and ADR can continue his face run in the mid card for a few months while Ziggler does his thing as champ. If Ziggler gets hurt still then Swagger takes the title at Payback and Del Rio defeats him clean to regain his title. All of those would have helped Dolph and Del Rio barring injury and both guys wouldn't plummet down the card like they did later in the year.

Heel Alberto was one of my favourite characters in modern wrestling.
I marked the hell out when he won the Rumble.

The thing about pro wrestling is, you can hate and dislike somebody's character but you don't have to hate the person, and it goes the other way as well. I really liked Del Rio's efforts when they gave him a terrible story. I'm glad he's doing well as El Patron, and that's going to be a really great YouShoot.

I've always been behind del rio. I never thought he was boring but the product/booking was lacking in developing him as a top tier performer. anyone remember his last match with sin cara when sin cara injured his finger and del rio was like "get that mother er out of here" after the match? I was like I respect that dude.
