i figured the wink was the que for reigns to come out since his music hit literally right after, and paul was probably told just to fill 5 mins and wink when he's done...but who knows.

Heyman double crossing Lesnar and backing Reigns makes as much sense as Heyman double crossing Lesnar and backing the Big Show.
It happened, and it was terrible.

I still think we are getting a swerve finish at WM. Crowd wants to love Brock and they want to hate Roman, so why not give them what they want. For the exact same reason that Daniel Bryan is in the IC title match instead of the main event. |

I love that they are finally making plans a head of time and sticking with them, but the horrible irony is that they've planned something that very few want to see. |

I would hate it if he did, and it wouldn't logically make sense as why would Heyman want to turn on Lesnar? However, we haven't had this kind of finish to a Wrestlemania for a long time, so it is overdue. If it does happen then it also solidifies the fact that they think he isn't ready to be the top Face, so needs Heyman as his mouthpiece, and they aren't confident that his face reactions will get any stronger.

Next night Reigns is all like WTF, I thought we had a deal!!! He then shows the Universe all the evidence of collusion between Reigns and Heyman in this thread.
Then Heyman is all like, you were the back-up plan in case Lesnar didn't resign but he did so I don't need you now.
Depressed and rejected, Reigns quits wrestling to open a surf shop on an island somewhere.

I think the only way they would have split up Heyman and Lesnar would have been if Brock was leaving after Mania. Now that he's sticking around, they'll need Heyman as the guy to pump him up and remind crowds about him when Lesnar isn't around. Here's the thing - IF Heyman turns on Brock. which he has done in the past, it could easily work out. Heyman could constantly get on the mic and remind people that Reigns beat the man who beat the streak... therefore Reigns is better than Undertaker, Cena, Lesnar blah blah blah. Constantly reminding the fans Reigns is better than LESNAR.... until Lesnar comes back and challenges for the belt around Summer Slam. My only fear with Reigns going heel is what does that do for a Seth Rollins who seems the likeliest to feud with Reigns over the title after Mania, assuming Reigns wins the belt either way. Pretty easy to fix.You do the double turn at Wrestlemania where Heyman cost Brock the match against Reigns and in the process turn Brock babyface and Reigns into a heel.Then on RAW Rollins with the backing of the Authority cashes in his contract for a match as the main event of the show.During the match Rollins gets screwed not by Heyman but by Triple H as the Authority turns on him thus turning Rollins into a babyface.This give you a lot of fresh and new ways to book things.You could then redue the whole Authority stable with Reigns,a returning Sheamus and whomever else back by Triple H,Step and Heyman as their manager or just roll with Reigns with Heyman as his manger back by Triple H and Step without a stable.Thus giving up a main event picture of the top babyfaces being Cena,Bryan,Rollins,Orton,Ziggler...ect and the top heels being Reigns,Rusev,Wyatt,a returning Sheamus...ect and Brock and also hopefully a repushed Dean Amrbose as badass twenners ala like Stone Cold. |

Face or heel, Lesnar needs a mouthpiece to sell his matches:
No chance in hell Heyman aligns with Reigns. Heyman said himself, all his respect for Reigns is to detract from the whole old-school notion that the heel MUST hate the face. Kayfabe-wise, he doesn't agree with what Roman Reigns believes in (which, according to Reigns, is "dat") but respects the man's in-ring ability (which is more than what I can say for the guy).

The crowd will hate almost anything they can do cleanly except maybe a Lesnar win, so I think we're getting the swerve. |

I noticed how last year before the match with Undertaker he said Brock was going to win and 'that isn't a prediction, that is a spoiler'.
Which, although I don't BELEE DAT Brock will win, added a little more intrigue to the match. But, Roman CAN and WILL walk out champ. beleedat?
