When I met the Shield when their figures just came out I got them from ringside 2 days before. When Roman and Seth signed the 2 pack they both kept looking at it so much. Roman said he has never seen the finished product in person. I customized the AJ elite and make it a Pokemon edition since she loves Pokemon and she took a picture of it on her phone she loved it so much. stardust at ringsidefest put an X through the cody figure and said I DONT LIKE ANYTHING ABOUT HIM and signed it stardust with an x over codys head. alot of other times it is them reacted to the marker or whatever that i use. I gotta believe too that the older dudes much lie cops can tell a liar. Older guys getting figs signed, you can prob tell from the fan and the poacher lol

he told me the same thing. Kane loves signing his figures when I got my elite 22 signed he said hey I've never seen this one then showed his wife and told her to find him one on eBay A. Kane is cool. B. Kane is CURRENTLY getting PAID son... MDM has a crapty legends deal and whatever else he does for wwe. He's not broke BUT he's not getting KANE money. C. Kane has learned the ULTIMATE lesson from Taker. Loyalty. Kane will be taken care of for LIFE just like Taker. Those guys have bought LIFE INSURANCE tech from vince lol (I mean back in the day someone needed money to buy a house and they asked hulk to help and vinnie mac BOUGHT the friggin house for the wrestler and let him pay him back or something...think what Vinnie would give such FEW LOYAL guys he has left if anything bad every happened to them) Kane is getting money still, he should have retired (tech not mentally maybe) but he's still goin, still a top star...he'd only care about that crap when he's in ted's position D. Kane is cool. I wasn't comparing them I was just saying Kane likes when he signs his figures

Million Dollar Man was a huge "want" of mine, and well worth the twenty bucks to get it signed! But I just never understood why it's fine to sign an 8X10 for free, but figures are gonna cost ya.....

It must have been a little gutting though if he was a big want of yours, it's not about the money, as 20 bucks is nothing, it's the fact he was signing others for free

I made a custom Rhino Jakks Classic SS and had him sign it and he was all shocked and asked where I got it, was a very nice dude. I also had a custom Raven Classic SS I did and had him sign that and the dude was a total prick, I heard he didn't like the venue they were at that night. I took a pic with him and it was like I had to beg him to do it even though no on else was by his table at the time anyway.

Taking a wild shot in the dark here, perhaps it has to do with figures being flipped on eBay for profit? Maybe by him charging its an attempt to eat at the potential profits?

I understand that..... though, to those (few) of us with no intention to profit - it makes the wrestler look bad, especially when they are at an event signing other items for no charge... As I said, it was well worth the $20 (to me) to add this piece to my collection - but it made Dibiase look like a bit of a prick to my wife, and myself...

Raven is ALWAYS a prick. Used to see him at the mall with Kanyon on multiple occasions when I was a kid. He was always nasty telling people to "beat it". The one time I asked him for an autograph, he huffed and puffed, scribbled nonsense on the paper and said "alright now get out of here". I was 9. Guess he's nicer than Kanyon was though as he denied up and down that he was Kanyon.

With the dibiase, it could be a contract thing. I know alot of musicians I've worked with can only sign items that are provided at the signing. Cds, posters ect. when people bring guitars or even just vinyl sleeves, sometimes the management make them refuse. might be something like that or he's just a prick.

I'm lucky in the regard that I'm involved with the business and have yet to pay for a signature of anyone from Foley to Flair all were nice and enjoyed signing. My first paid signature will be for my girl Paige though in May. Can't want. She is worth it.
I'll post picks of my signed figs later.

I met Dibiase last year at a baseball game and he did the same thing with us with our WWE encyclopedias. We were the first in line and I saw the look on his face when I put it on the table. He turned to the girl that was handling the table and told her he had to charge because it was memorabilia. Then he told us that he was just at some fanfest and was getting $20 a pop to sign those. As he was telling me this I was just staring at him like "are you kidding me"? Then he said well it will be $10. I went ahead because I wanted him on the Xanta Claus page.
Funny thing was he stared at it for a long time and couldnt figure out who it was so I had to remind him then he just stared more. Anyway he was signing pretty much everything else free as far as I could tell and handing out his own cards for free. A guy I know said the manager of the team paid him and he was supposed to sogn everything free.

I met Chris Jericho a few years ago for a Fozzy cd signing and I had his entrance great figure. He was amazed because it was the first one he had ever seen so needless to say I have the first Chris Jericho entrance great that he ever signed which is pretty cool to me anyway lol.

Ive heard more negative than positive about Teddy.
I also got the Wyatt Family to sign my 3 pack and both Harper and Bray took a look at it.

I remember getting jim Ross to sign the baf jr punk figure since he was on the box. He thought it was funny as hell. Had no idea that he had to be "built"
Also when I got batista to sign my mattel 1 of 1000 figure he was really surprised. Told me that he didn't know that it existed.
When hacksaw jim Dugan signed my ljn moc he also was surprised that I had one in that good condition. He even offered to buy it from me, which I politley declined.
