I met Roddy Piper back in 2007 at a convention and he was the nicest guy there. I got my "Born to Controversy" DVD signed & have a framed pic of me & him from that day somewhere, but I'm not sure where I put it.
I met Chris Jericho at a Fozzy signing back in 2012 after they played their set at the Rockstar Uproar Fest. He was a pretty awesome guy to meet; one of my all-time faves. Signed my "Sin & Bones" CD cover, the band pic on the inside as well as a huge Fozzy poster they were handing out.
I've met a bunch of the TNA guys at shows (2011-2012) & got my roster book signed. Austin Aries was the nicest guy hands down that I met from TNA. He actually took the time to talk with the people in the line while he was signing their books. Everyone else just signed and slid them down the line...maybe they'd look at you and shake your hand, more often then not, nope.

Never really met any myself.
I've heard Mick Foley is an absolute dick though from many people which really surprised me.

I've met a handful of wrestlers over the years: Spike Dudley Bubba-Ray Dudley Big Show Scotty 2 Hotty Grand Master Sexay Chris Jericho
The only one that came off as a jerk was Grand Master. I met him and Scotty at WWF New York during Unforgiven 2000 and he had no interest in being there and signing autographs. I luckily got an autograph, but had to beg...I just turned 11 so I was new to these things.
Also I recently met Jericho at his book signing a few months ago and he was okay. He signed my stuff, but he didn't say high or thank you for reading my book; things like that. I was a little disappointed, because I had big expectations on meeting him. Maybe I can meet him one more time and hopefully get a word or two from him.

There's a huge thread on another forum describing bad experiences with him. He seems solely in it for the money.

He seems solely in it for the money. PPW here wanted to bring him in. I think they said he wanted $5,000 or $6,000, plus airfare and hotel. they were willing, but he said he would only stay the first half of the show. when told they wanted him to be the special referee for the main event, and that they do most of their autograph and picture setups at the halftime intermission, he still insisted he would leave as soon as the intermission started. so they passed. guys like Tommy Dreamer, Matt Morgan, AJ Styles, and Mr. Anderson stay for the whole show, and for FAR less money.

I've met a few over the years some were nice and some were very rude. Here's the list.
Nice. Mick Foley. Kane. John Cena. Val Venis. Kurt Angle. Matt Morgan. Victoria.
Rude. Shawn Michaels. Stacey Keibler. Ric Flair Carlito. Batista.
Randy Orton however has changed the most. I saw him back in 2004 and he was nasty and obnoxious with the fans but I saw him again last year and he was super friendly with everyone and happily sighed autographs and posed for pics.

Depends when and where you meet them. If they are there for a signing vs random in public.
Met foley after his comedy show, was surprised he wasn't very friendly and just moved everyone right along.

Wrestlers are human beings, just like you and me, and they're going to have their good days and their bad days. Personally, I'm of the opinion that a wrestler should be personable (at the very least) when they're booked for autograph signings, especially the bigger names that obviously cost the most money. Nothing sucks more than paying to meet and greet with a wrestler and he/she turns out to be an absolute bunghole. For example, I've heard Brodus Clay is a nightmare to deal with when it comes to autograph signings so he's someone I'm very hesitant to ever pay to meet.
I can honestly say, though, aside from Bubba Ray Dudley I have never walked away from an autograph signing feeling disappointed in the wrestler I just met. I've had nothing but good to phenomenal experiences attending signings/conventions.
That being said, if you see a wrestler outside of an event or autograph signing...then you have to be prepared for them to be bungholes.

People that strike out as nice guys are Owen Hart, Hawk and John Cena. Probably never heard a good word about either Shawn or Flair. Same with Dynamite Kid.Funny because I've seen plenty of good words about both. And I've met Flair, and he was absolutely fine.

I have only met Hogan and he was nice to me. I heard he was a dick back in his prime in the WWF and especially in WCW.

Thinking of meeting Ryback next weekend as he's doing a signing 10 minutes from my house. Anyone have any experience of meeting him?

Chavo Guerrero - Awesome, and very funny. Taryn Terell was next to him, and she complimented my sister's hair, so he turned to her and said "but her's is real"
Hernandez - Awesome. Somebody asked why he always signs stuff at the bottom of the page, and he said it's because he is always last to sign anything.
Jeff Hardy - This was just after he had come back from the "Victory Road Incident" so I didn't expect much, but he was surprisingly nice. I even have a part of his armband from that night.
Kurt Angle - Really nice, cracked a joke about CM Punk.
Rob Van Dam - Absolutely awesome. Very nice and very talkative.
Gangrel - Had quite a lengthy conversation with him. It was at a show here in England so his accent stood out. Very cool.
Oliver Gray - Awesome, but quiet. Accidently drew a line on my arm with the marker (not sure how that happened)

I've only met one wrestler and that was Kid Kash about three years ago. He was wrestling at a show quite near where I live and he was signing autographs and selling merch at a local comic shop were I live. I went down and met him after I finished work. He was really nice, was talking to everyone that came up to him and just was an all around nice guy and invited me to go to the show he was promoting. Even though not a lot of people turned up, he was still very nice to everyone that came up to him.
