does anybody knows how they are? uso´s khali fandango bo dallas barrett adam rose xavier woods william regal Ive met them all but Khali, Wade and Xavier. ALL of them have been super cool. Regal really enjoys interacting with the fans who come out to see him. Same with Bo. I probably would never waste time going to see Riley or Booker after what I brother told me.

is mark henry really a jerk? Depends on what color you are. does anybody knows how they are? uso´s khali fandango bo dallas barrett adam rose xavier woods william regal USOs: Used to be really cool, not act like big shots Khali: Quiet, but nice. Fandango: Not overly nice, but not rude at all. Bo Dallas: Never met Barrett: Depends on the setting. Barrett can be a douche, but is usually decent. Adam Rose: Nice guy Woods: Overly nice. Really chill Regal: Quiet, unless you bring up something that is unique that he has an interest in. Then he will talk and talk. I love talking wrestling with Regal. VERY humble guy.

Did you see him wrestle Gunner at a local indy fed? I think I was there, as well! Well if it was in Plymouth, UK then yeah! Saw them last May at a UK wrestling event. Definitely wasn't it then. Haha. I know he and Gunner get booked together around the area and have little feuds where they wrestle a big match bimonthly or so. Davey Richards does, as well.

I have met the following wrestlers and they have all been 100% straight up guys/gals. Sheamus D-Von Dudley Velvet Skye Mick Foley John Cena Ryback What did you say to Cena when you met him? Did you tell him he sucked, pretend you liked him for politeness sake or just ignore the issue altogether? Good to hear he was a nice guy.

Daniel Bryan may be the nicest wrestler on the planet. Such a great guy. I'd put Edge up there too.

I have met and/or worked with a lot of names in the business. I am just a small time ring announcer locally in my town, but over the years I have worked with Axl Rotten, Ricky Morton, Matt Hardy and Jake Roberts, just to name a few of the bigger names.
Hardy was great. Talked with the boys after their matches to offer advice. Was a huge hit with the fans and made sure everyone went home happy.
Axl Rotten, although cordial, will talk crap on whatever promotion/promoter he is working for, basically saying he could do it better. I got the feeling that Axl thought he was a bigger entity in the world of wrestling than what he really is.
Ricky Morton was so humble and engaging. I sincerely hope to see him again one day.
Jake Roberts, well, he was awful. I've told the story of him crapping himself on the way to the ring a few times on these boards...but another portion of the story from when we booked him is as follows. Someone brought a snake for Jake to use as a prop in his match. The snake, clearly not prepared to be poured out of a bag in front of a sizeable group of people, crapped all over the ring, and Jake's hands. A buddy of mine, who was Jake's tag partner for the match, asked for a pic with him (and who wouldn't? you just tagged with Jake Roberts!), and Jake proceeded to rub the snake crap all over the guy's face. He wouldn't go over the match with anyone beforehand, he passed out in the lobby of the building we run in, and wouldn't pose properly for a picture unless you also bought a shirt. Totally ruined my opinion of Jake forever.
I have met a mess of wrestlers as a fan over the years...some rude (Shannon Moore, Batista) and some so engaging, it was mind blowing (D'Angelo Dinero/Elijah Burke, Jesse Neal). Overall, though, without question, the nicest wrestler I have ever met was Sheamus. He signed my Extreme Rules 2010 poster, even personalizing it. I remember thanking him, and him thanking me in turn, and then I mentioned how his ladder match with John Morrison at TLC should have been match of the year, but the voting was too soon. He laughed and thanked me again, and was overall very warm and engaging. Total class act that has made me a fan for life.

I've met mostly all the big name stars in WWE & TNA over the years and the only ones I've had a bad experience with were CM Punk (Just a rude, arogant man no matter how nice and polite you are to him), Alex Shelley, Batista (Although met him again when he returned an he was like a changed man to the fans) and Mark Henry.
The nicest are Kofi Kingston, Matt & Jeff Hardy and Kurt Angle. John Cena has also been fantastic to me in the past.

Well, it's not too involved. Jake, presumably, got messed up on something and passed out in the lobby of the ball room we run our shows in. When he finally came to, it was about 5 minutes before the main event. While on the way to the ring, literally during his entrance, he crapped himself. He then whispered to his opponents when climbing in the ring that he had s--t himself, and he spent the entire match on the apron, tagging in just long enough to DDT (ewww) and then the snake fiasco went down afterwards.
Anyone who knows indy shows, knows that intermission is the time when workers and promoters make extra money. Selling gimmicks, hocking snacks (and beer, if possible), etc. While all of this was going on at our show with Jake, he kept giving me the "wrap it up" hand motion, telling me to end intermission, as if he had any say in the matter. The guy was just a terrible experience.

When it was our turn to meet him-I told him Sean had been VERY sick recently (he had nearly died the year before)he picked up on what I meant immediately and made a fuss out of him......he asked me what had happened I told him and he seemed amazed he had survived. we shook I said "thanks very much Johnny"...he laughed and that was that!! As you know Cena the character is tiresome beyond the very limits of belief but I could never fault his outside the ring efforts.

The only wrestler I ever met was Big Show at London Heathrow in 2010 and he was incredibly nice. I asked him for an autograph and he told me to sit next to him so we could take a picture. We talked for a little bit and he instantly became a favorite of mine.

I'm meeting several wrestlers during the next several weeks:
4/11: Paul London 4/18: Brian Meyers/Curt Hawkins 4/25: The Faces of Fear (Meng & The Barbarian) 4/26: Terry Funk 5/2: Sunny 5/9: Rikishi
Plus, I'll be going to Legends of the Ring on 6/6. I'll post how my experience went with the above wrestlers in this thread but, in the meantime, has anyone met any of the above wrestlers. I'm particularly interested in any Meng/Haku stories because, well, he's pretty freaking scary.

PPW brought him and Brodus in for the same show. he was nice, and engaged the fans who came up to him for an autograph or picture. total opposite of Brodus.

I've heard HORROR STORIES about Brodus Clay. he was terrible ( see my son's picture with him on the previous page). wouldn't talk to anyone, or even look up for most pictures. you could genuinely tell he didn't want to be there. he was also at this place in Allentown, PA. that weekend called Budd Carson's I think. people were posting pics of him from there doing the same thing, looking miserable or not even looking at the camera. you don't want to talk to me or whatever? fine. but my kid was really looking forward to meeting him, loved his character in the WWE, and the experience completely ruined his night.if you can't be decent to an adult fan, at least be decent to a kid!

That's awful! I was waiting on line at an Eric Bischoff/Bruce Prichard signing and a few people waiting in line behind me were talking about how much of a waste it was meeting Brodus Clay for pretty much all the reasons you had listed.
