Regarding the Kimbrel trade, like I have been trying to get others to believe, we are in complete rebuild for the new stadium. Which I guess is fine. This is a lame duck year for Fredi, and he should be fired by years end. Ultimately I believed all along that the price for people to get Kimbrel from us was having to take happy Upton and his stupid contract. I loved Kimbrel, but an elite closer is a luxury. And history says he probably flames out soon. If we hadn't already gone in full tank mode, I'd be pissed. But since we are, I'm cool. Though I feel like we could have gotten more if we held out to the trade deadline.

I'm just bummed because he's one of my favorite Braves (behind Freddie). Sports aren't being nice to me thus far in 2015. LOL.

Braves are gonna suck this year and its gonna be hard to watch. I just hate that they decided to rebuild and feel bad for Freddie and andrelton. Freeman deserves to be on a contender and wouldn't be shocked if he left. Nats are gonna breeze to the division title

1st time in nearly 25 yrs or so, that the Braves will enter the season with no chance. We get rid of BJ but it cost of Kimbrel to do it. We actually got some decent prospects in return vs the Justin Upton trade.
No reason to have a great closer when you are winning 70 games or so, but he was under a manageable deal, we do expect to contend one day. We needed to rebuild yrs ago, I felt, not so sure about now. We needed to re-tool, but a complete rebuild? Ultimately terrible deals given to Upton and Uggla led to most of this. Obvious rebuild, but we sign Markakis and some other vets this offseason. I don't know just confusing really. Some moves made sense, some didnt.
