Hey.....that's not cool. Also, how tremendous is this? I'm just kidding my man. Not every team can win every game. I know the Nats are good. Haha I'm not fussed. Nats are really talented, they just haven't been able to get it done. In 2012, they collapsed against a veteran Cards team. After my heartache ended I thought, "this could be good. Usually teams have to lose before they can win" In 2013, they couldn't beat the Braves and I think got a bit overconfident. In 2014, they lost to another veteran team in the Giants. It didn't help that Matt Williams took out Jordan Zimmermann in Game 2, but still.

i love games like this but i hate games like this....Yankees score 10+ tonight and probably wont score 10 runs total in their next 4 games
but it feels good to have them actually show they are capable of hitting a baseball unlike the first 5 games of the season

I have this impending feeling that the Reds are doing what they've done to me and every other hometown Cincy fan their whole life. Give us false hope.

The Reds seem to always start off hot and then fade in late June and are out by the All Star Break.
I have been a White Sox Fan since Frank Thomas came up and with the money they spent this offseason I had alot of hope going in.
So far it has not paid off and Detroit like always looks like the team to beat.

Sox got absolutely decimated last night. Damn Yankees, indeed.

Home opener. If the Tigers could play nice and lose the next three games, that'd be great.

Unless you're from Cleveland or San Diego, I don't want to hear any of your "woe is me and my teams" spiel. We will trump you every time.

One down against the Tigers.
On a more Lorenzo type note, can we please burn Mark Melancon at the stake? Please?

In all honesty, I figured today would be a loss. Cole I thought would have a heck of a day, and he did. Disappointed that Castellanos has started the season this way though.

Both the Indians and Padres have had pretty successful runs during the 80's, 90's and at times in the 2000's, but before last year the Royals hadn't been in the playoffs since 1985 and had only two seasons with a record over .500 since the 1994 strike.

Successful seasons mean nothing without a title Have only one winning season between 1994 and 2013 and tell me successful seasons don't matter. The one year they Royals finished over .500 in that time was because of a really hot start and the rest of the year was just downhill after that. That season also locked in Mike Sweeney's contract and cost the team any chance at keeping Carlos Beltran.
