Pretty damn good match. Neville really did impress.
The commentators really dropped the ball again. Sure, they gave Neville props, but they needed to be going WILD with each near fall/impressive move by him. THE KID'S GONNA BEAT THE CHAMPION. That line puts both guys over - it makes beating Rollins look like a big mountain that people have to climb, and it makes Neville look like he actually might be good enough to do it.
Negative, maybe, but the commentators can either add to a show or take away from it.

All the 11 and 12 year olds right now are like, "OMG SETH JUST BURIED NEVILLE!" except the term bury is an IWC term, which most 11 and 12 year olds could give a rats ass about

I don't want to hear anyone complaining about Neville losing. A main roster newcomer having a great, competitive match with the WWE Champion is awesome. I wonder how long till someone says Neville got buried

< WWE gives us Adrian Neville vs Seth Rollins for the mother ing world title in Neville's 2nd match on the main roster < and here's the beginning of the end. Some ing people. Was that a title match? < WWE gives us Adrian Neville vs Seth Rollins for the mother ing world title in Neville's 2nd match on the main roster < and here's the beginning of the end. Some ing people. That was for the title? Nah. My bad.

I missed the first 40 or so minutes of Raw. What happened before Neville vs Rollins? Authority promo where the main event was announced as Ryback/Orton/Reigns with the winner getting a title shot at Extreme Rules They have to compete in matches tonight before the main event too. Orton vs. Kane. Paint by numbers stuff. Neville/Rollins Also Reigns/Show and Ryback/Harper announced

I missed the first 40 or so minutes of Raw. What happened before Neville vs Rollins? HHH & Steph on vacation. Kane gets frustrated with Rollins, books Reigns vs Ryback vs Orton in a #1 contenders match, but all three are in singles action before hand. Orton faced Kane, and Reigns faces Big Show. Cena's open challenge next.

hes had 2 matches and hes against the champ yeah Remember when Tensai had a match against R-Truth then jumped right up to Cena? What happened to him then? The difference is Tensai was in his 40s and getting one last big shot as his career wound down. Neville is an up and comer and one of the most exciting wrestlers around.

Still really cool to see. Absolutely. That match just solidified Neville's spot on the main roster.

Neville week one: You're called up, go win! Neville week two: You're facing the WWE Champion, enjoy future obscurity! No reason for him to get fed to Rollins. You should have watched the match. I did. Was a good match. No reason for him to lose in only his second RAW match though, against the Champion or not. Looking strong in a match is great, but he still lost in only his second match, to the champ. Guys who debut need a chance to get hot. Losing doesn't do that.
