The "Greatest Wrestler Ever" Tournament...........ROUND 2

Ok so the results are in......and the matchups look like this.

Sting slaughtered RVD in a VERY one sided affair. Sting came to this tourney to show he means business....

HBK also had it easy against Foley and dispatched him without hardly breaking a sweat.

Stone Cold overcame Angle in a match that was close until Austin drilled Angle with a running stunner. Angle kicked out but was unable to get back in the game. Austin would work him relentlessly until he got that pin.

Flair edged out Bret in what was the closest match of the round. In a hugely see saw affair Flairs endurance and willingness to stoop that touch lower seen him through to the next round. After a tremendous beating Bret's legs finally gave out.

Hulk Hogan overcame Punk despite several spirited comebacks for Punk. A big Boot/leg drop combo would fail to finish Punk the first time.....but nailing a second leg drop immediately after sealed the win for Hogan.


Undertaker overcame Rock in match that started out VERY competitive but eventually became a one sided beating. Rock succumbed to the Tombstone piledriver after lasting for as long as anybody possibly could against UTs very physical assault.

Eddie and Perfect absolutely tore up the ring.....but Eddie started to pull away from Perfect near the end.....a froggy finished off mr Perfect.

Lesnar and HHH mirrored Rock/UT in many ways.....started off competitive but HHH soon crumbled under the savagery of Brocks attack.

So RVD, HHH, Bret, Perfect, Angle , Rock, Foley & Punk all go home.

The remaining 8 will enter the "randomator" soon for the Quarter Finals......
