Especially considering Mance is still alive in the books. I'm loving that changes are being made. Same here Kev. Honestly? The books are not well paced at all and contain heaps of unanswered questions.....Taking a detour is no harm at all The fact that the show is changing so much really tells you that a lot of what George R.R. Martin wrote is kind of fluff. Like, was it really necessary to spend nearly an entire book on the Iron Islands and some Grejoys? With the show not even talking about them, are they that important to the endgame?

Obviously these went no place great for HBO to change things. I work with a dude who is VIOLENTLY opposed to any changes of the books(its his wife talking not him-hes whooped) but he is ok with the changes to the Walking Dead. I have told him to seek help in getting a life several times but alas my colossal wisdom is lost on him......

Tonight's episode was awesome!
Cersei is getting what she deserves for being such a bitch but oddly this could be the episode that finally wins Lena Headey an Emmy for Drama Supporting Actress because imo she was brilliant!

Lena Headey killed it tonight for sure. Tonight's episode was pretty great. Loved that Kaleisi still didn't care for Jorah but loved the look on her face when Tyrion introduced himself.

Loved last night's episode. A lot is going on right now with the North and Meereen, and things are finally really starting to pick up in King's Landing as well. It should be a very exciting last three episodes.
Also, I would perfectly OK if they made a spin off show just following Bronn doing Bronn things.

Finally Tyrion meets Dany! The books are such a cock tease on that so I'm glad the show just went for it. That should have been the ending, although Cersei was good too.

Is it bad that after all she's done, I'm kind of rooting for Cersei against the Sparrows? Better the crazy ruler who is a little too fond of her own family you know type of deal I guess.

Maybe this will make everyone feel better about Ramsey. (Language) Misfits is one of my favorite shows, I guess it's not as obscure as I thought. I was disappointed though when Simon left because he was my favorite character but I was OK with it once I found it was because of GOT.

The first two seasons were awesome, as soon as Nathan left the show suffered majorly IMO.

I also have the first two seasons on DVD.

It was a special webisode where he moved to Las Vegas to uses his powers to be an entertainer. It sucked that he left, but at least he got a proper sendoff.

What a balls to the wall episode! Finally, The White Walkers have emerged, and the Sith Lord Frozen Maul leads the pack! John Snow came off as a total bad ass tonight. As always of course! Ptoving that such a young man can lead both The Nighys Watch and The Wildlings into battle. I still see the Iron Throne being destroyed by White Walkers/Dragon fire. We will see. Tyrion again proves that he is the most intellectual drunk of the show. He's always 5 steps ahead of everyone else. As far a Cearsy.... Well, the witch spoiled her future, so.... Someone's dying soon there. Where the is Hodor?

Where the is Hodor? Bran and Hodor won't be appearing this season. Where they ended up last season is how their story ended in the books. So nothing new until the next book probably. On tonight's episode: The final scene pretty much shat on every episode of the Walking Dead thus far.

What an amazing episode!
I think the '9th episode is always the best' trend is going to be broken this season unless next week's episode is another super epic one.

HOLY TOLEDO!
That was probably one of the best episodes of the show, that was an INTENSE fight scene; just phenomenal all the way around. Hope it's full steam ahead for the last two episodes too!
