Even though there hasn't been a post Wrestlemania release period in years, if they ever release wrestlers in masses, I can see Zack Ryder, Hornswoggle, Cameron and a few NXT guys not doing much being released. Wasn't there one last year? Brodus, Jinder, Mcyntire, etc. Well, there was a mass release last year, but not post-Wrestlemania. That happened a couple months after. What guys here are referring to is the post-Wrestlemania releases that used to happen every year but for the past 2-3 years, there hasn't been a mass release and they've been letting people's contracts expire. I feel the only reason they released all those wrestlers last year was because WWE lost a lot of money due to the Network launching. |

up until last year, post WrestleMania "spring cleaning" really hadn't been a thing in a good while. But seeing as though NXT is growing, a lot of guys and gals are coming into the performance center, and guys are coming up, I see wwe having no choice but to trim some fat.
- I expect a majority of people to be people we haven't really heard of from developmental.
As far as main roster, I only see
- Zack Ryder
-Hornswoggle
-Tamina Snuka
- member of the broadcast team
( now that you think about it, they do
have tons of interviewers and announcers around)
- part of me thinks Layla will be in the mix of releases, despite her returning on Main Event. I feel that UK tour was her final hoo-rah
( take back what I said about Adam Rose because apparently they're doing something with him now)

Khali has been gone for months thankfully. He planned on opening his own wrestling school last I heard... So who's going to teach Khali to wrestle before he teachers others? |

WTF is wrong with you?! I like polished wrestlers. But I don't like intensely choreographed patchy-tan fairies who can't even sell a storyline in her bloody ring walk! Seriously, considering she was challenging the Divas champ off the back of a victory over Sasha the previous week, could she have appeared any less interested during her ring-walk?! It was like something out of WWE2k15!! Either that or she was secretly auditioning for something completely unrelated to wrestling. I know Trips helped Balor choreograph his entrance, but christ, Alexa may as well have had place cards where her feet should land throughout her entire match! Poor Sasha, aka jesus, having to turn water into wine with that one. Hopefully that's the last we will see of her and Sasha can go back to working with decent talent. Wrestlers sell through facial expressions. Bliss takes a pasting and lays there like she's auditioning for Babestation. That makes her downright terrible in my eyes, regardless of her bust. Don't hate, a dudes entitled to his opinion. How can I like Alexa Bliss if I never liked Kelly Kelly? Absolutely no difference at all, people just force themselves to think there is because Kelly Kelly was pure awful. |

Who said anything about wanting? The annual WWE Roster chop always happens. This is a discussion about who is at risk of release. Nobody WANTS anyone to be fired, if we could have 7 different WWE rosters and 7 different daily shows, we would, then nobody would have to be fired would they?! We would just not watch the shows which had the worse workers on it, and instead of being chopped over nothing they'd get a trial by fire, and STILL end up gone for being the worse roster of the 7! But that's just not possible. So dey gotta go |

Oh boo hoo. People are saying they want famous guys on wages that dwarf their own to lose their job. It's not like they'll be struggling and out of work. WWE isn't the only promotion around. It is however where the big boys play, and if they're not good enough, why keep them around? So their feelings aren't hurt? Are we supposed to never future endeavour another guy ever again?

I'd say that Ryder, Hornswoggle, Heath Slater (I could see them keeping him around but, a good hand to have) Tamina, Rosa Mendes, Emma, Layla and a dark horse for being released- Erick Rowan as much as I hope he doesn't.
I see quite a few divas to be released to make room for girls from NXT.
