thankfully I saw this PPV for free... but wow just AWFUL. The downward spiral of TNA continues.
Highlights of the Night: Kaz vs Roode a surprisingly solid match Joe vs Christian, minus the ending Tag Team Gauntlet
Lowlights of the Night every single segment involving Kurt Angle all 3 matches involving Kurt Angle (Lethal vs Angle was the best of the 3) Rhyno vs James Storm Chris Harris vs Golddust or whatever he's calling himself Tomko being on the winning team of the tag team gauntlet... common really did AJ sleep with Dixie Carter and then never call her or something... why is he being relegated to tagging with Tomko; dont get me wrong I enjoyed their team when it started but its really run its course and the last thing I want to see is Tomko/AJ vs Killings/Pac Man
i'm assuming the idea of having the rift between Sting and Angle is to setup a title match... but logically shouldnt Jay Lethal be first in line? He went over clean. And TNA's "major announcement" was again a huge let down.. everyone knew it was going 2 hours, flagrant false advertising by TNA to try to increase buy rates.

Angle/Abyss was a good title match with a clean ending.
Everyone knew Abyss wasn't going to win, especially with Mesias ready to debut.

Ugh, why give the tag titles to a team that DEFINITELY doesn't deserve them...?

I don't have a problem with TNA putting a title on a "celebrity." I do, however, have a problem with them putting a title on a celebrity that can't legally wrestle.

I agree with the false advertisement part. I quit watching when they started negotiating with Judas Mesias. Glad to hear about 2 hours maybe they will give Joe longer matches. note the first night Impact got 1.2 Joe won the X division title. Put Joe over in a World Title match on October 4th I colud see it getting 1.25

I don't have a problem with TNA putting a title on a "celebrity." I do, however, have a problem with them putting a title on a celebrity that can't legally wrestle. Theres no point in putting the tag straps on a team where 1/2 of the team can't even legally wrestle. I feel the same way about this Hardy/MVP thing. It's awesome MVP has 2 titles, but can he even wrestle anymore? So in conclusion, I agree 100%, except I do have a problem with TNA putting a title on a "celebrity" (more like a criminal)... Wait, nevermind... I only agree 50% - Triple S

And TNA wonders why the locker room morale is down They need to smarten up a little, TNA has the talent to be sucessful, but they are still in growing stages, and are pulling off some really moronic decisions. I am shocked at some of the guys who did not appear on the PPV, especially Senshi. He is the most underated guy in TNA imo, and I am sure many others will agree. I really hope ROH steps it up more, and either forces TNA to smarten up, or just takes over. Hopefully if ROH makes it big though, they won't be as stupid as TNA can be at times.

MVP could legally wrestle, no matter what. It's a matter of if he can physically wrestle.

I actually thought that it wasn't a bad show. Granted, TNA's storylines aren't great, but they still put on a better show than WWE. I really like Christian's Coalition, Tomko and AJ really fit in it. AJ is definitely more entertaining and even Tomko isn't that bland. The Tag Turmoil was pretty good, I really wasn't expecting Homicide to be eliminated so early. Joe/ Christian ended pretty well, it's definitely fitting that it ended in DQ.. especially after the way the story progressed in the last few weeks. Lethal/ Angle was good. I expected a lot of Angle just beating the hell out of Lethal, but it was actually pretty even. I actually expected Sting to come in and cost Kurt the title, but Lethal got the clean victory which was nice. Angle/Abyss was a nice clean finish, and no one expected Abyss to win anyway. We pretty much knew that the announcement was going to be the 2 hour deal, I think it's still a major announcement, now we'll get more matches and/or longer matches. Overall, No Surrender and Hard Justice both blew WWE Summerslam away.
