http://instagr.am/p/1zEO1kGzUK Glad to see she's getting the proper training. I was one of the many who thought her matches were garbage but I can't wait to see how she turns out after this.

So the solution is to fire Eva Marie, Layla AND Alicia? I'm cool with that. There's plenty of girls who are pretty who can actually work too. Kellie Skater, Jessie McKay, Portia Perez, Nicole Matthews, Hania the Howling Huntress... Or even from WWE's own roster: Bayley, Charlotte, Sasha Banks.. I fail to see the logic of finding a pretty girl and hoping you can teach her to wrestle eventually versus finding a girl who learned to wrestle on her own and just needs refinement. Then again, I don't watch wrestling as a fetish like some people seem to.. Jessie McKay recently got signed. Even if they can wrestle they still have to teach them the WWE style. WWE style according to Al Snow. 1) Babyface shine - The face of the match looks good by doing a few moves to the heel. 2) Heat spot - Heel cuts the face off with some big impressive moves. Snow says the problem is that lately heels will do a good-looking move and the face will oversell, thus shifting the crowd to side with the heel. 3) Extensive Heel Beatdown - Snow implies that a lot of the time it kills the match because of the constant selling, leading to... 4) The Hope Spot - It looks like the face will bounce back and the heel cuts him off. Again, the heel cuts the face off one more time and "reinforces the fact that we want to be the heel even more and the face even less." 5) The Double Down - Where both guys will take a hit and sell for a long time. Snow feels like this is dumb because the heel has been dealing out offense for five or ten minutes but now seems as hurt as his opponent. The crowd stops liking both workers because they both seem weak. "Now we don't want to be either of you!" 6) The Comeback - The face fights back against a heel that will stop defending himself. These are the 4 moves before the finisher to end the match, the "5 Moves Of Doom." 7) The Finish/False Finishes - Snow points out that now and only now will either guy try to win the match. After ten minutes, only now will you see a pinfall attempt that has a chance to end the match. This then leads to the finish, which at this point he says "means nothing". Al Snow isn't a good source for wrestling knowledge any more. Listen to his rants about pops. It's complete nonsense, because even by his stupid sex analogy, he's wrong. I'm not sure how to say this in PG terms, but he must have a really boring life. And he may have only got one "pop" but with a well formatted match you can get several pops from the highest spots of the match.

His whole WrestleMania 3 thing was the worst.

His whole WrestleMania 3 thing was the worst. "training people to work the WWE style" is probably the #1 thing wrong with WWE these days. Work the cameras? Sure. But this cookie cutter mold is the exact reason I don't watch WWE stuff. Every show is pretty much interchangeable pieces with every other show and every TV match is exactly the same. It's spinning wheels wrestling.

What is optimism?
Optimism is: Making a new thread every time Eva Marie learns a new move.
Brian Kendrick carried that tornado DDT.

Does the opponent not always carry a jumping, spinning DDT every time, or am I missing something about how this move never looks realistic when anyone does it? Humans can't jump that high, the opponent lifts them into the air and spins them around every single other time also, so why does it matter that it's Eva Marie this time? I almost s*** my pants seeing this. Alternate universe where Eva freaking Marie is doing suicide dives and springboard DDT's. I'm sure Nattie and Tamina could carry this move, so she should pull it out every once in a while. She should actually face one of the stronger girls such as Nattie in her first match back so she can show off a bit. I'm all for wrestlers showing fire and passion and training hard, because I'm sure diving head first toward a floor out of ring isn't the easiest thing to get used to. All power to her

WWE does not trust SETH ROLLINS to do the curb stomp due to the risk for head injuries, but they are gonna allow Eva Marie to do a Springboard DDT. Yikes. Don't know if this has come to light since you posted this, but yesterday PWInsider said that the curb stomp wasn't banned, it was a case of getting too much of a babyface reaction like the Cesaro swing

Are we going to be posting threads everytime Eva Marie learns a new move? If her next new move is to porn, then yes. Very much yes.

Are we going to be posting threads everytime Eva Marie learns a new move? She just posted a video of her hitting the Sliced Bread #2 on TBK. So expect that one next haha.

Don't know if this has come to light since you posted this, but yesterday PWInsider said that the curb stomp wasn't banned, it was a case of getting too much of a babyface reaction like the Cesaro swing Well PWInsider is full of crap! There's literally no comparison between the crowd response of the two moves. The Cesaro Swing is different, it's not an impact move, it simply shows strength and plays to an audience, so it legit makes no sense for a heel to perform the move. The Curb Stomp pulled for its 'babyface' reaction?! Why would they even try to report that.. It's a simple case of the Stomp, like Ortons Punt, being a very direct act of violence with serious consequences. It's the kind of move that relates more to a bar fight and not a ring. WWE are totally hot on concussion prevention right now, so it's unsurprising that they've pulled the curb stomp. They should have done it before Rollins used it to win the World Title at Mania though, his big moment, and he can't even keep the move that won him the gold.

She's learning moves that require a fair bit of help from the person taking them...hopefully that doesn't deter her in the long run...

You can't say she's going to be a great wrestler just because she posts a video of her doing a move perfectly ONCE. Nobody knows how many times she messed up or how many times it took her to get it right once. I don't need to judge her till she debuts I can judge her based off common sense.
