I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere. But does anyone know why a yellow classic style Hulk Rules shirt is what was included on this figure? Did I miss a time in the last couple years when he actually wore that? Again, I am sorry if this has been covered before. I love the figure, but it sparked my curiosity when I couldn't find any photos of him wearing it recently.

I don't know for sure if he wore that recently. If he didn't, I'm at a loss as to why they included it. He has more than a plenty accessories with one shirt, boa, and sunglasses. Perhaps it was to make palatable a figure who isn't in ring gear. Personally, I prefer the red shirt, but this one looks cool either way. You know, in the yellow shirt he looks a lot like my TNA Deluxe Impact series 9 Hogan.

Definitely has not worn recently. That one is an early 90's shirt. a Red one with "HULK'S RULES" and text on the back is the recent one from Raw

Maybe it was just an extra accessory that was fit in with the budget? It does look good on the dm figure.

He hasn't worn it since he's been back, but it was re-released on WWE Shop around the same time he came back, if that counts for anything...

They should have put a more recent picture on the back of the box aswell, instead of using a 2003 picture.

I think they included it so that you can easily convert the DM Hogan into a 90s Hogan.... OR, some people don't care for the "tear" on the shirt that came with the DM Hogan - the complete shirt is a suitable replacement.
I put it on the Basic & it looks great, except that he doesn't have a bandana....

I think I'm going to buy the WM Heritage Hogan just so the extra shirt has a home.

A lot of people wanted this Hogan shirt and this was just a way to release it as soon as possible I think. Someone on here said that Hogan was wearing this one again during press conferences for WWE and other appearances.

^ I trimmed the bottom of the shirt for mine... I think it looks too long like that. Mattel probably just included the shirt as a nice bonus, so we could have quick/easy way of having a classic "Hulk Rules" figure, using the DM or Basic figure...

Oh awesome. I was worried it wouldn't fit. Do you know if it fits on the basic 48 too?

Sorry to go off topic but is it just me or is the DM hogan knee pads too dark? I'm thinking I might switch them out with brighter ones.
